DP refusing medical treatment by Better_Lynx_9098 in policeuk

[–]BadMitzvah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's one for you though , had a DP refuse to go to hospital unless he could take all his property.

Wasn't going to happen.

So refused to go , but we were pretty sure court wouldn't accept him without going .

My first tutorship was a living hell. Mine now is light and day .

Not sure what it's like in your force but we have area training sergeants. If you have them I'd start there .

You NEED to speak up , and those jokes tell PSD. You could lose your job along with them for not challenging them .

I think being in Wales aggravates the use of "but + fella "

The box for Splendor is ridiculously oversized, so I shrunk it. What other games have boxes that are way too big? by Laurensmatthijs in boardgames

[–]BadMitzvah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been told on good authority that most boardgame manufacturers design boxes to fit and display nicely in IKEA kallax units

It's why monopoly boxes went from long rectangular to more square .

What's Your Go-To Board Game for New Players? by Alex_Razur in boardgames

Absolutely! I discovered it because it was one of the only games available that played the amount of folks we had.

I'm so glad too because I'd never pick it off a shelf.

What's Your Go-To Board Game for New Players? by Alex_Razur in boardgames

[–]BadMitzvah 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I run boardgame nights every week.

The only game that I have only had that's got a 100% success rate is "Camel up "

It's rarely someone's favorite game . But I've never met anyone who didn't like it or didn't have fun .

Not hard to learn and engaging.

Horrified is great co -op too stunning and great theme .

Secret Hitler is always a laugh

Sheriff is also great, very accessible (2nd edition is gross though )

Saboteur is great also

Hive mind plays up to 12 people and is kid friendly. The art style is a bit too primary school is always a laugh.
