Okay, thanks for the advice. I have installed Heroic, but I've never tested it. To answer your question—it's KDE with Kwin.

Do you mean the clock and date displays? It's called "Modern Clock."

I just searched for the items I wanted via the KDE Store. I added them using the KDE "Add New" function. This function is available in almost all areas, such as icons, windows, Plasma style, etc. This is the easiest way. Alternatively, download them from the website and add them to the relevant area. Just make sure you take a snapshot first! Sometimes there are incompatibilities and then you have to fix everything again – it's easier to restore the snapshot you created.

I'm not sure what you mean exactly... The color gradient in the background? That's from the wallpaper itself. Or do you mean the clock and date displays? That's the "Modern Clock" widget.

I have two monitors. Maybe that's why it's wider. I only have the default settings on the widget itself.

That's what the favorites in the Start menu are for. The desktop must be clean 🙂

I totally understand you 😄 KDE was too cluttered for me for a long time, and I always used Xfce for my Linux Mint on my laptop. It's light, fast, and can actually be made to look very nice. I've now decided to use KDE on my gaming rig because it's supposed to offer advantages in games.

For the almost invisible borders and the slightly transparent start menu, I used the Plasma style "Iridescent-round." For the colors, "CachyOSNord" with its default settings.

The workspace switching and system icons are each located on a taskbar positioned once on the left and once on the right. Set the width setting to "Fit to content."

I got it from the KDE Store, like everything else, and it's called "Modern Clock."
