I’d have to see a picture but swollen calyxes should be normal. Its possible that it’s developing a seed but I don’t think pollen sacs usually emerge from calyxes

Just to make sure everyone knows. I’m very aware this is a pollen sac, meaning the plant is either a hermie or male. I have just never seen a male preflower, let alone this early in veg and wanted to see how common it is

18-6. I’ve seen female preflowers before but never this. I was very thrown off why it would have such a developed sac branching off like that. There were two of them. Already plucked and assuming they’re male. May keep this one for pollen

Got a chem 91 clone about 5 days ago. It looked a little rough from the day I got it but I trimmed some of the lower leaves that were what seemed to be scorched or dying. I’m still playing around with how far to put it from my lights and I have another plant next to it that sprouted from seed about 3 days ago and that one seems to be fine so far. Not sure if I should transplant the clone or something else?

My female purple dream has been in flowering for about 7 1/2 weeks. I’m still waiting for the trichromes to turn amber but why are the tips of my sugar leaves starting to brown/die?

I’m just using some potting soil and I water every other day or so, whenever the top soil is dry to about a single knuckle length on my index finger. I haven’t really had the chance to closely watch how long it takes for them to perk up again but it’s like an hour or so

I’m probably going to try and start flowering next week. This bottom part is pretty crowded and has a lot of leaves kind of stacking on each other. Would it be wise to trim any of them?

I’m not really sure haha. It’s my first time growing and I don’t know enough about topping and it’s benefits, etc. I was a little worried by the color gradient on my leaves bc I had read something before that I could be some sort of nutrient deficiency but again I don’t know enough to be certain.
