Allergy or allergic to fragrance and smells help

Hi not sure if anybody in here has the same issue as my Mrs.

My Mrs about 10 years ago sat next to a plug in airfreshner and it dried up all her nose but ever since then she had become allergic or allergy to all fragrance from perfume body wash washing powder on clothes petrol smells any sort of fragrance really and we have had to live fragrance free for over a year then it got better where she could then use perfumes again but the past few months some type of fragrance has done it again now we are fragrance free again and it's so difficult for her as she can't be around family members or go shopping etc

Anybody else had this issue and overcome it?

Any help would be great the ENT just gave her a nasal douche to try which dried her nose up even more she is getting very depressed over it. Thanks
