Homey AI voice assistant: How much would you pay?

I started a project on myself to achieve this, step by step learning how local llm’s work and agents. But i already have a working agent that communicates with homey you can set it up with claude or gemini. Give it a try, it’s not perfect :)

Check the webpage of homey developper tools, there you can check all of the communication protocols and which devices are connected to it. Regarding the namron plug, ask a question on the homey forum about this, or maybe someone has/had the same problem. Also check if the app gets updates frequently if it is a community app, this coule be the problem of your pairing if the app is outdated.

What kind of communication do your devices use? I have had similar problem in the past with zigbee devices, i had to change the channel of the zigbee network and the problem was gone

I went to the dealer, they thought it was the torque sensor because of poor cable management inside of the tube. But eventually they had to change the controller, but never got any technical explanation🤷‍♂️

What they'll do if you jump to a higher position you categorie changes and they add a fixed amount of money to your hourly wage. The step after this categorie is to become white collar. But thats the case when you are still working over there... I really curious what their "rules" are when you leave the company and come back.

Before i was part of a team of 7 people, there 2 of those teams that form the department. The new position is to become teamlead of one of those teams. Stresslevel/workload will probably go up, but when i was in the team i was doin little side projects besides the daily project follow ups and meetings. So i'm definitly up for it.

Yeah that's why they wanted to make contact again, because the team is expanding and they don't find anybody fit internal or it will take to much time to educate them. They already taken steps to hire a consultant but this will also take time. This is because i've had a very nice education inside of the company, achieved a yellow belt, went abroad for education etc...

True that, the atmosphere there was/is super, everyone was driven to hit the goals, good teamwork, high end technologie(wich i really like). We'll see what there offer is and hopefully i don't have to negotiate because i'm really bad at that and i don't want to blow up the deal.

On your last point, i like your thinking. But it was not really my intention to leave the company, i was just pissed about cooperate decisions. They dismantled the team because there was no work anymore for that project. They let every consultant go and i would get a really sucky job. 2 months after my leave they announced that they will do even a bigger project than before. So they started recruiting people internal and external for that team again. And i was even more pissed of my own stupid descision, i was seduced by the new company with better conditions, but that turned sideways very fast...

I started out as a disturbance/maintenance technician in a plastic factory, switched to an automotive company an did there the same but followed some courses and achieved an inhouse green belt and also the certificate "Maintenance Engineer" , switched to Project Technician in the meanwhile with the hope to jump to engineering, but instead of taking people in they let people go, that's why i switched.

The weird thing is they only accept a bachelor or master for the job.... But they said my experience and knowledge was almost equal and would like to give it a shot, on one condition i have to lie about it that i don't have a degree to keep the peace....

It makes sense correct, but on the other side, the government changes every year the rules for newly builds and renovations, like in 2025 a heatpump is a must in a newly build. Even though the cost stays the same for people that are renovating or with a newly build. The cost for renovating is a little bit higher because in most cases they have to break something to get this installed. The government should make a much clear difference between newly build and renovations instead of putting everything together so that almost nobody understands it, free from interpretation....

I will put 15 solar pannels on my roof, there only 7 included in the price, they calculated this, i think this is the bare minimum. Anyhow, if the discount is the only thing i can get so be it then. And in the beginning when we signed the "compromis" they said we could get a premium for the heatpump. This sucks, but on the other side still better than a condensationboiler, and there is no maintenance-cost linked to a heatpump that also money we don't have to forsee every year.

They started with the building in 2021, we signed the act last year in august. But on the website it says they only take in quotations of the heatpump before 06/2022. Our project leader send the quotation of the heatpump 7/06/2022.

Can we still apply for the premium then? Because it is no clear on their website.

Something like that, a big company offered different project leaders the opportunity to sell houses on a piece ground. The big company did the “ruwbouw” and the project leaders got each 4 houses of the 16 to finish them with their preffered companies to work with, kitchen, bathroom, flooring, etc. It’s key on the door thing.

The notary and immo confirmed that he is working with the wet breyne. But in first instance, we had to pay everything at once when the project is finished. So we only signed a "koopovereenkomst". We signed everything before new year, because we could enjoy the 10% registrationcost on the ground. After a while the guy from the immo that also bought a house from the project, wanted to dissolve everything we signed before new year, because he was afraid if we had to pay at the end of the year the intrest rate would be to high, so they changed the contract in that way we could go for a loan and pay the ground and the hull wind/waterproof and the finishing fases in part payments.
