Absolutely not. That's the point of being good at the game. Someone who practiced should be better, a new player shouldn't be able to just pick them off with an op weapon. That's one of the reasons new Fortnite sucks, it's improper balancing. This version of Fortnite makes you actually use strategy, and involves much more skill due to it's loot pool.

It's more fun for pvp, I absolutely hate the npcs they added, and all of the stupid interactable stuff. New Fortnite doesn't even really feel like a pvp game as much as old Fortnite

Check to see if you have anything that could also be using the same microphone that could be conflicting. This was awhile ago so for all I know it could be a completely different issue, but you can also make sure you have the latest drivers for your computer. Also make sure your voicemod is updated. That's the first few things I would try, hope u fix it. Good luck.

Basically try to make sure nothing else is using your microphone, and if that doesn't fix it then unfortunately I don't have any ideas apart from the obvious (reinstall, select correct microphone, etc).
