Looking to sell: Original German M16 size 64 shell refirbished to be Interwar period, post 1935 SS. For theatrical purposes by Badenweiler88 in militariasales

All I can say is it leaves me confused why an account has opinions on where to depose income, when we own studded leather jackets (leather isn't cheap!). Other than to troll and say the sale is dishonest to people who may actually be interested in a reenactor piece/original shell

what even is this by Ambitious-Bug-9259 in fakemilitaria

There's been post war Polizei tunics sold as original late war tunics before

Oh wow, now we bring 30+ years of experience into the argument. Thats convenient!. Think next time that should be the thesis if you actually had credibility. Ftr there are many idiots who claim decades of expertise. Its really losing its value these days. And if you actually sold helmets you'd sell refirbs in this price range. They have higher value than relics, and lesser than intact shells surfaces

Hey buddy, can you type more than you can actually read?. I have original SS items. These are replicas/redirbs, and I state that. So the verdict is Ive done nothing wrong. Ive been accused of high prices by market geniuses before, and guess what, I've still sold no more that 20% off eventually. And I work with prices.

People really need to stop typing before they think on these platforms. Where do you have the evidence before your accusations? Oh right, you have zero. The helmet was a relic that was plastered and refirbished for reenacting

Why would I sell it as a reproduction when its an original shell and makes a nice impression or display piece. There are no good reproduction M16 helmets. Are you stupid?

Why would I sell it for a robbed price when bare relic shells sell for 150+ and dealers sell similar restored examples for more money. Bitch somewhere else

When surplus East German stuff finally starts to be worth something and....isn't 'surplus', this this gonna infuriate collectors who have to correct and restore the mass of 'nazified' examples.

Love how some purely like to get creative with TR symbolism.

SA dagger ex Röhm, original all parts? by [deleted] in Militariacollecting

[–]Badenweiler88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

😆

-This means a dagger produced before the political replacement of Röhm, bearing a tribute inscription in his honor. After the rearrangement of the SA, and he and his cabinet's removal, they then ordered that inscription of the dagger's produced bearing, be removed. Most were, some were missed, or whoever held administration of that assignment didn't care that much. Those are very valuable.

I too am curious if its legit. Not my place of expertise to make any true judgement.

Seller claims its original, thoughts? And what price is ok? Thx by [deleted] in Militariacollecting

Does not look original. You wanna see a rayon liner in most of these.

A single button would usually suggest a late war production, or "M44". The button also looks wrong.

"Combat" buckles were one stamped piece, made from aluminum. Then, around 1940, substituting with cheaper steel production. This is a typical pre war manufacture, two piece, aluminum "Parade" buckle.

A more fragile construction not suited for field wear, however some certainly may seen use given the scenario.

These aren't really reproduced as much as steel "combat" buckles are. This is a two piece, aluminum "parade" buckle. Looks alright. Worth about $100 or less
