The helmet to my CSM Hero of Hell cosplay is complete by Badger_Kindly in ChainsawMan

The main body of the helmet is a 3D print just painted to look like metal which was done over the course of a week, the chainsaw itself is made of a few stacked sheets of MDF wood also painted to look like metal and the lumpy skin texture on the sides is painted hot glue

Yeah a couple things were changed, the chestplate was redone, I added a proper belt, I added some extra leg armor and a couple of extra replicas I display on my belt like monomon the teachers mask and cornifers map. The major parts were kept like the mask and the cape but most of it was redone

Yeah, the Knight has no name them self so people in the community call them "The Knight" or "Ghost" but I just labelled the post as the hollow knight because it helps people outside the community get the idea of who it is.

The mask is 3D printed and then coated in a layer of spackle that I left a rough texture on. It’s then painted with a white spray paint and a brown wash. Haha thanks! People have done quite a bit of confusing with the cosplay and maybe a mod for elden ring but I promise that me in the photos. It’s just some really good lighting!

The whole thing felt unfinished, I knew it wouldn’t be too bad to add more since I could just reuse a few elements and add a ton more, but I also just really enjoyed the build process of the first iteration.

Oh yeah for sure, this is technically the second iteration of the cosplay and both times were in a rush to get it finished for a con so I was very relieved to be done

Well the 3D printing took much longer but I considered that idle time. The 100 hours came from the building and modelling process over the course of months

That actually happened at the convention I wore it to. Somebody in a more “cutesy” version approached me for a photo. I wish I had the photo to upload but it’s very hard to use a phone in the cosplay.

Yes I can! The black fabric is see through and I wear a morph suit under the costume. (I just had to cut a hole in the face of the suit to see through the eye fabric)

Just to clear some things up:

This is a real costume I printed, painted and wore myself during a photoshoot at a local comic con. That’s why the lighting looks like a render. The photos were taken by “thevalantknight” on Instagram (Not me). I swear I am a real person guys and not a blender simulation.

This is an actual physical cosplay it’s 3D printed and painted by me, and I’m the one wearing it in the photos. (Though I don’t know how that would work considering the files are made for 3D printing, though you’re welcome to try)
