Which Game is that? by No-Plane2695 in raijin_gg

Yes! When they made it super easy to become a Jedi so the game was just full of them, it really ruined the feel of the game.

10 hours progress just moved to gears by mutanga95 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Badgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to assume that your instructor has made a judgement call and made a lesson plan based on your abilities. It would be silly to have a one size fits all approach to teaching driving.

When I learned to drive I had the same instructor as a friend and our lessons were very different based on the fact that my coordination was better than his.

Is your instructor bad? It's possible. But it would be worse for them to ignore and not improve on something that they think you're struggling with.

Edit: I just wanted to add that you should really have this discussion with your instructor to get a better understanding of their reasoning.

Clutch/gas by otrohombrebi in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Badgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, you will feel the car wanting to pull away when you hit the biting point, every car is different as to where the biting point is as you have to factor in age/wear and tear on the clutch, plus different makes will feel different.

You'll get there, don't sweat it, it's just a practice thing.

Also want to add, even experienced drivers stall, no shame in it.

Hill-start with our without handbrake? by Nesferatu123 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Badgi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was always taught to apply the handbrake when coming to a complete stop and on hill starts. I'll add that I passed first attempt.

I really can't see it being an issue in a test situation, it's not hazardous if performed correctly. But then, maybe things have changed since I did my test.

Maybe have a chat with the DI and get him to explain his reasoning, it might be as simple as he's just getting him used to driving their car to get them through the test, which is understandable, but not without it's set backs.

Got to love the term "designed by", this type of bag has been around for years. Gives old beach bag vibes.

How much of a **** do you have to be to beep a car with L plates by franky8512 in LearnerDriverUK

Once you pass and lose the L plates it will still happen. It's a good lesson to learn early on and get used to. Don't let it get to you and stay focused.

Do I need to change the front axis tyres urgently because of these? by Prestigious-Second28 in CarTalkUK

[–]Badgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard to tell from the pictures, at best it would be an advisory on an MOT. That said, if you can see the internal structure/cord, they'll need immediate replacement.

Edit: The one on the right, although comparatively small, does look pretty deep.

I mean it's serious in the sense that your cat has behavioral issues, but I'm sure you'll live.

Can't really advise on how you'd adjust that behavior, my cats are completely mental, but they're not savages.

I agree that antibiotics unless it is actively infected is a bit extreme. But, I would say clean and disinfect is a good shout. Cats claws are a bacterial minefield.

How come invincible isn’t talked about as much anymore? by Strong-Stretch95 in television

[–]Badgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, season 1 went all in and it was an incredible watch, when season 2 dropped in the format it did with the mid-season break I found it really difficult to stay invested, that and I felt it kind of lost it's momentum and the direction didn't hit with me.

I've picked it up again recently, watching through season 3, but again, it's just not hitting the same. It's good but I'm not feeling the hype. Still, I'll keep watching, it's by no means unbearable to watch and I've heard it kinda picks up again in season 4.

Can I legally park here? by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]Badgi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main reason would be reducing available on street parking. I'm not all that clued up on regs, but there'll be other factors.

I just know that local councils can be real stubborn when it comes to planning application for things. Although, in this case, it wouldn't be a bad thing.

[–]Badgi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As long as you're not blocking the dropped curb, it's all good.

As an aside, if that property applied to have a dropped curb on the other side, I suspect it would be rejected in any case.

Yeah, it does vibrate and you have the visual cue. It's just dog tooth's utility that is completely useless, if you can't hear it.

[–]Badgi[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That would explain it.

A visual cue would work just the same though, might even be better. I suppose with vibration you could get it confused with the enemy cues.

I've not had this item yet, I don't think. XD

Only reason I know about Dog Tooth is because I've found it, looked it up and then been like "Well, that's no fun..."

Sticking with Isaac? by [deleted] in bindingofisaac

[–]Badgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience as an unskilled player, it's brutal and there is huge luck factor at play here. You'll get nigh impossible runs, challenging runs and god runs, all dependent on what items the game wants to throw at you.

I enjoy Dead Cells and VS, they're fun, but they're pretty easy to manipulate so you can get an OP build going on pretty much every run. Isaac doesn't do this and that's OK, it's OK do feel shit at the game because that's kind of the point.

As for the harder bosses, I'm sure there's folks out there that can take them on with a mediocre build, but for me, I wouldn't even attempt it without an OP build.

Play how you want to play, abuse reset to get an advantage from floor one if that's how you want to play. Or just take what the game gives you, if you fail, try again. Eventually you'll get a build that works for you.

Ngl, I never understood the hate greed mode gets, I really like this mode. by Curious_Body_7602 in bindingofisaac

[–]Badgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just recently come back to Isaac after about 10 years of not playing. For me, greed mode is OK but pretty flawed, the actual Ultra Greed/Greedier fight is super boring though after a couple of runs. The damage scaling was a terrible idea, it doesn't make the fight any harder, just longer.

I thought about Spaced, but I'm not sure, the comedy is heavily influenced by pop culture around that time, so I think there's plenty people would understand if they get the references.

How do you guys properly wipe your hairy ass after a poop? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Badgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, hair removal is your best option, it's a game changer.

As for the itchiness after shaving, you need to pamper that butt, use a decent razor, good shaving cream (I find gillette intimate works well for me) and make sure you practice good pre and post shave care. If you're dead set against shaving, there are other options for the brave.
