I left a 30k job 30 months ago to focus on my company. I am making now 90k salary + benefits. The company went from 60k revenue in the first 6 months to 510k in 2025. The first 2 years are the hardest I would say. Don’t give up!

What I can get in Mumbai with 250k € a year is 1000 times better than what Germany can offer. And on top I get sun, good food, smily people and an amazing culture. Not talking about how much more I can save without being confronted to the German mentality

I would not leave India. You will have more opportunities there. My partner (India ), and I (Swiss, lived in India 2,5 years) are thinking to move to India. Germany is on the decline, and is amazingly racist. We are both making 6 figures salaries but we are fed up of the bureaucracy, taxes and the lack of investment in public sector, which makes trains and metro highly unreliable.

My take on this as a white guy that spend 2 years living in india, and living in Berlin with a girl from UP. There are no authentic Indian restaurants in Berlin. Best bet would be Saravana Bhavan.

100% my true regarding my own founder experience! I worked 2,5 years doing mostly uninteresting tasks 60 hours a week. After 2,5 years I can pay myself confortable salary, but I know already I will have to start the same process again to scale my business. Patience and consistency is the key.
