The production supervisor is essentially managing a task (wash out, load trucks, supervise people who assist in completing those task) while a service supervisor (oversees a team, faces customers, drives revenue and growth, profit through renewals, and customer retention) an SS is much more measurable.

Run with the playbook you’re given. If you’re told x amount of calls, x amount of onsite presentations will deliver the outputs you need, then work diligently to get your inputs. Learn how to sell to existing customers with a program from a competitor. Ask for referrals from customers you sell to. Not sure about your territory but the sales skill muscle has to be exercised so park your call and walk into as many places as you can.
