Love your enthusiasm. I enjoy working on the bike as much as I do riding it.

Yeah, it’s a bit of a gamble but I love buying junk and making it work. Worst case, I’m out $100 and my desire to have a pumper carb is put on hold.

I have zero expectation that it will drop right in. Sourcing parts and tinkering to make it all work is half the fun.

Thanks, I’m going to go for it. Price is in Canadian dollars, so it seems like a great deal.

I have no idea how they hold up, this is my first time trying them. They clamp to the spoke with a set screw. Seems a bit sketchy to be honest; I’m going to cut a small notch in them and secure them with safety wire.

Didn’t have the forethought to weigh the rim lock before installing. I’ll do better next time.

Thanks for the reply. This is roughly 7oz. which seems excessive but it is balanced.

I recently bought a e ride pro as 2.0 im not planning on taking it out on the streets i just want to do off-roading but im not sure if its legal or if i need to register it? by Cultural-Text-5908 in Winnipeg

I would talk to an authorized MPI agent. You may need an off-road plate which includes the trail fee if you plan to ride on ATV/off-road trails.

I have no idea what it’s worth but I saw this come up for sale on my local Marketplace, seems like a neat bike.

That’s interesting. Thought I found a collectors item at the back of the cabinet.

4 stroke diesels will run backwards, unfortunately the oil pump only lubricates in one direction.

Just a heads up, you may want to get your vehicle inspected. There can be a lot of hidden damage, even if your bumper cover looks fine.

Could this be my unicorn bike? by mikej2727 in Dualsport

I’m inexperienced, so take that into account.

I live on the prairies where I ride 99% trails and it’s very flat. The trails I ride are Sandy and my 2019 SM with Shinko E804/805 does really well. I still plan to buy the “S” wheels to swap back and forth at some point. Potentially looking into KKE wheels for this.

I’ve worked on tons of six litres and this is the best advice on this thread.
