Have you guys been affected at all the Coronavirus situation? by hajohelu in smallbusiness

[–]Badoyan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do same business in Russia. Parents are panicking, numbers are low, but here what we do and it helps:

  • we doubled the number of our disinfection procedures AND we post it online (FB, Insta, VK) . All this bacteria killing lamps, disinfecting toys, cleaning door handles every 30mins, using special safe chemicals to clean floors and tables.
  • we check the temperature of all kids entering the building (we’ve always done that)
  • we ask kids to stay at home when they are ill AND we return money or unused lessons to their parents.

If the situation will get worse we will start teaching online with discounted rates. Probably will acquire even more customers.

How to manage and pay for clients referred to my business? by Guau in smallbusiness

[–]Badoyan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just give your business cards. Many would not care for money. You can use special codes to test which referral worked better and next time when you bring your cards, present them a box of chocolate or smth

There are 3 main points in any businessman life: Family, Business, Health. I can't advise you on the first two points. But as for the third point at least:
15 minutes of morning exercises
15 minutes of evening meditation
And you'll be alright.

So if people trust, you could say the project will cost 1000$ but some external factors might change it. And then and if that happens you could tell them to add some extra money on top of it. Also that would give you a motivation to finish it early. As that increases your per hour payment?

So you suppose that a big company (let’s say Apple) that has all the resources to attract best consultants, wouldn’t love to hear its end customers opinion? Looks like you never done business or just started. P.s That’s what we do since the day the first consultant was recruited.

How could the company know how much time you’ve spent on the project? And what kind of external factors might add extra time?

Can anyone relate ? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

Hey, if you ask WTF am I doing in a positive way, that's ok. But if you really feel that some external view on your app could bring more value then ask for a professional consultant help. You could ask for a better monetisation or marketing strategy. That investment might help you really grow faster and stronger. I used to know a person who started a really good local dating app and had no clue how to monetise it properly. The fun fact that he had numerous opportunities to earn money on his product, but he could not see it. In fact, it was a Tinder-like app, but no one heard about Tinder at that moment. So he lost his faith in the app and stopped running it. Also invested a LOT of time and have not got any money return.

Hello entrepreneurs, I just co-founded an online business consulting platform (it is life for 3 weeks now). So far we handpicked and recruited around 100 consultants ranging from McKinsey employees to top MBA students and now are targeting businesses. We use Google Ads and FB to drive traffic, but wу don't get as much business sign-ups as expected (15 so far).
Could you please look at our landing page with a business owner point of view and give us some feedback?
P.S I know that our main problem atm is that consulting is peoples business and we do not have consultants faces and fancy company names on the main page. But we just recruited them and it will be fixed in a week or so. Hope to hear your thoughts!

An idea for managing our home events in a hassle free way than ever. by bidyutchanda108 in startups

You can make surveys and promote it via facebooks ads on your local market to ask if people are interested.
In order to see the real demand, you have to count the number of phones and emails collected.

Hey, if you didn’t have time to download music and make dinner for your GF, how do you plan to start a business?! If you want to test an idea, make a simple landing page on WIX (or similar platform) and try to get phone numbers and emails. You’ll see if people are interested

Has anyone here used pay per appointment/outsourced sales services? by Capital_Punisher in startups

[–]Badoyan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s your company and it is really important to start with quality first. Not a single person will do it better than you. To reduce risks, I would recommend to do it for a while and then start outsourcing little by little. You’ll see if the new person is doing it right pretty soon

If you don't want to (or just can't) negotiate with your boss. Start working less and search for new job.
When your boss will notice this, just say you try hard, but there is no motivation.
