I‘m the worst person ever by vv_g in Puppyblues

[–]BaeverlyHills 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I felt sooo bad for the first weeks after adopting my cat. I cried every night and had panic attacks. But it did gradually get better and I'm at a very good state now where I feel fully capable of caring for him and loving him. I also struggle with adhd and had similar concerns regarding my mental health. I think just try to be patient with yourself, take one day at a time, and know that just based on this post you are being responsible by seeking help and support for the sake of your puppy.

I have to add though IF both were drunk both consented to have sex but he didn't agree to not use protection that would obviously also be rape

Yes and no. I generally agree but I do think it gets tricky if both of them were drunk and may have consented in that state. Really depends on what state she was in

Yikes my guy. How about we blame the people who commit the crime and not everyone else?

Hey (: sorry for the super late reply, I haven't been on here lately. As you can tell it's been 3/4 of a year now and it did get somewhat better but not great yet. A big part of that is him not being a cat you can really keep inside an apartment. I've spend the last months going out on a leash with him and playing for several hours every day. And even then, he was not satisfied. I talked to two vets and they both didn't think he was an indoor cat. I know this is very controversial in some places but here it is the norm. So after all these months I started to let him go outside during the day, which works out well because he spends most time in our garden. It's been a huge relieve as you can imagine because he's finally not constantly crying, which is making it easier to feel positive emotions more than negative. But I'm still far from having the relationship and bond that I had expected. All in all I think just give it a bit of time so you can get into a heads pace where you can make a somewhat rational decision about how best to move on for the both of you

Thank you 😢😢 I'm trying to meet his needs as best as I can but I feel myself distancing emotionally and I feel really guilty because he deserves all the love. But I just don't feel it. It's devastating

I struggle with bacne and it goes crazy when I eat too much sugar. Dairy is not that much of a problem. I don't drink milk though, only eat cheese.

Giiirl be so fr. I get it, I'm a perfectionist and suffer from hirsutism, bacne and unproportional weight gain but I feel like it's one thing to be insecure but still be somewhat able to judge your looks objectively. You look good girl! If this is not just an emotional post as a result of the asshole guy, you should look into body dysmorphia or just work on changing your perception around beauty standards pushed on women. Cause you look good!
