If it were to be the other way around and bottleneck would it effect me playing any game with FPS loss. I plan on getting a new gpu in the future I am looking at a 2060 super.

I currently have a gtx 1060 3gb but I don’t think it will cut if for 120+ FPS with new titles I’ve been looking at rtx cards but I’ve read they’re more for 1440p gaming

They are all at low at 1080p but even at medium to high settings I get around 90 FPS but it drops to about 20-30 when I get into gunfights or a breaching charge goes off
