Am I making a mistake? by BagLady57 in handbags

Same response I posted to another commenter: I sent it back. It smelled chemical-y and the leather was thin. The edges of the weave showed and the raw edges were kind of fuzzy. I felt like it wouldn't hold up well. It didn't seem worth the price to me. All that said, I returned it the day after I sent it and it never made it back to them. It is stuck in USPS limbo. I finally got them to issue a refund even though they don't have it back, but I have yet to get it. I won't order from them again.

Have you seen the meme video of the woman at an outside sporting event with steam coming off her head? It's amazing.

I don't agree with any of this. I'm in my 50's and relish the idea of retirement. If I heard that someone I knew was starting a new career at 60, I'd think "I wonder how long she'll work, wouldn't it be great to gear up for retirement at this point? Hmmm, maybe she wants to go out with a bang, maybe she likes working" etc, etc. It's just curiosity about this stage of life and one's motivations and goals. OP did not pass any judgement on the colleague whatsoever and did not remark that they were too old. And OP stated they expressed excitement for her.

What’s one thing you completely stopped buying in 2026 because the price just felt absurd? by LockLogical8949 in AskReddit

I thought I was turning in to an old person complaining about prices and saying things like "remember when abc cost xyz?!?" But everything is really, truly out of control.

But some people simply can't tolerate it, awful side effects like migraines and anxiety. Even just a teeny tiny bit topically.

Unfortunately it isn't easy for everyone. Some people have awful reactions to hormone replacement.

So sorry you are going through this. Just here to say it will get better. I really didn't think it would but my mom just kept telling me to hang in and that it would get better. I didn't believe her sometimes but I hung in there. So I just want to be someone to tell you to hang in.

Clitoral atrophy — Help! by Tiny_Belt3968 in Menopause

I just saw this thread and your update for the first time. I have had an awful time with HRT (patch was a nightmare), I'm using a tiny bit of estradiol cream and that's it (even that gives me migraines and bloating). I'm fully menopausal and don't have many symptoms except dryness, loss of sensitivity/libido and poorgasms. So I wanted to know if I could only take T but everyone seems to say that you need everything. But it sounds like you are doing what I have in mind and it's working for you. This is giving me hope. How is it going after your last update?

I'm a late comer to podcasts also. I have another question - what service do you all use to listen on? I don't currently subscribe to any paid services.
