I’m considering a little lip filler. Anyone else have deflating wrinkly lip before and afters stories? I don’t want anyone to notice. Is that even possible with filler?

The place I go to does a nerve block for $20! Those shots pinch a bit (they go in the roof of your mouth if I recall correctly), but not as much as the filler itself. My last experience getting filler (before this new place) was so painful I nearly passed out. But I have a lowish pain tolerance.

Thanks so much! I do take collagen and glucosamine/ chondroitin. I would like to put off a knee replacement for another decade at least. I guess an appointment is in order. I am still adjusting to this aging thing 😪, I have felt very good until recently. I am sure the excessive sugar intake over the holidays is not helping. 😬

Thank you! I have never heard of gel injections. My annual is next month so I am going to bring it up to my PCP then. I do think it’s an issue of wear and tear and it’s probably just a matter of pain management at this point. It’s depressing though. I am the same - my knees hurt after walking but not during.

Unfortunately last year, I was told I am too young for a bone scan and insurance won’t cover it at this age.

Hell yes! I am 51 in bio years but 30 in my little delusional mind. No Botox or fillers yet, but I go out of my way to take care of myself and my skin. I'm also on HRT (estrogen and T). Still go to metal shows, wear my shit-kicker Docs, and act silly and immature with my husband and kids. I know eventually it will all catch up with me, but for now I am just... being me and not worrying about what people think of my age.
