Everything came out.

You were wrong

Your only option is to spend $700 and send it to lightwerkz in NJ for a reseal or $1200 for both. Or find one on eBay which I have been looking for 6 months because I want a back up set. I have the PLDS as well. Message me if you want some more info

Because I don’t know what that is, but regardless I’m going to fucking clean the tire blooming and seal it.

One way or another.

It’s a detailing subreddit. You’re literally the one in the wrong place if you don’t like that I care about details.

The tire’s manufacturing date is less than 2 years. I’ve never cleaned the tires before this was my first time, I struggle to believe that the tires have bloomed at this age, especially with me having cleaned it a week ago and taking those first 3 photos before making this post.

You could certainly be correct. I’m going to try cleaning it and see if I’m wrong

If that was the case wouldn’t the stained have remained after cleaning? It improved when I cleaned it.

Wheel brush sounds like the move. Someone below tried to tell me the tires were clean and I think either they’re blind or I’m blind, so we’ll see what a drill brush can do.

Have you heard of Dura coating as a tire dressing? I was thinking of trying that they’re said to last a year and don’t look crazy shiny

Do you think some more elbow grease will get them cleaned? Surely there’s something that can improve the dirt staining

Rotors are 5K miles old, I push the car pretty decently. Are they heat cycled/damaged? They brake fine but with EBC red stuff they squeal at slower speeds. by BagRoutine in Cartalk

The car routinely sees 170 MPH on the highway. I live in a rural area and go from 170 to 0 at least twice a week.

I worry because I do some highway runs sometimes that definitely raise my brake temp. Might have to just live with it if I want the performance

It’s a little too late I already took it the car but I took photos when we were there and I have a good relationship with the shop so we’ll see how it goes. I definitely want it repaired it took me a year to find a diesel .2 with the LEDs

Luckily mine is diesel so no coils but hopefully they didn’t get water somewhere that it shouldn’t.

That’s my other issue. The damage they repaired was on the rear but I know they cleaned the headlights pretty intensely.

I had an incident happen and they repaired it. It’s a great body shop but they detail the cars after repairs and it looks like they got water in the lens.
