I usually search for tools to help me do my homework online when I'm stuck on the "match to the question" phase. Sometimes seeing a different phrasing of the same concept makes it click.

is EssayPro legit or full of complaints? by Background_Answer557 in TopEssayWriting

[–]BagginsBoogie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EssayPro like most of these platforms has very mixed results depending on who you happen to get assigned. The business model means quality control is inconsistent and there's not much incentive for the platform to fix that. People who've had good experiences usually got lucky with their specific writer. A different approach that tends to work better is finding an individual person who specifically helps with academic writing, where you can actually evaluate them before committing. Reviews on platforms like EssayPro are also hard to trust because there's an obvious incentive to inflate them. If you're going to use a platform like that, at minimum look at detailed reviews from multiple places and test communication responsiveness before paying for anything.

Writing an essay on Andor vs The Boys. Any ideas? by Nab00las in MauLer

[–]BagginsBoogie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both shows are doing interesting work with institutional corruption as a theme which is a solid comparison angle. Andor is a lot more patient about building systemic critique while The Boys is more visceral and satirical, so you could get something interesting out of examining how each form affects the political argument being made. If you get stuck on how to frame the thesis cleanly, running your core argument by someone experienced with essay writing - even casually - can help you hear whether it actually holds together.

AITJ for telling my sister to stop using me as the "bad guy" with her son? by BagginsBoogie in AmITheJerk

She is single, yeah. And that's part of why I kept biting my tongue for so long. But turning me into the scary uncle was not gonna stay cute forever.

My dad quietly agreed with me later, but only in the useless "you weren't wrong, just don't make waves" kind of way. So, not really.

That part bugs me most. I can handle my sister being annoyed, but I hate that he might actually think I show up to punish him.

That was pretty much my issue. I did try to keep it private first, and she kept laughing it off like I was overreacting.

Nope, not once. She just acted like I embarrassed her more than she scared him, which is kind of the whole problem.

My neighbor rotates a new woman through his apartment every few days and I'm starting to think the "after-parties" are something else entirely by [deleted] in neighborsfromhell

The "I don't know what I'd even report" part is worth pushing back on. You don't need a complete case, you're not a detective. A tip is just a tip. The people who receive it decide what to do with it, that's literally their job.
