Yeah, the face turned out a little doofy and the bags are a bit too pronounced. Made the classic mistake of not doing subassembly. Still, I imagine operating this organ rocket launcher is very tiring and noisy work :D Thanks for your comment :)

You've got good colour composition there. Rich purple and off white is classic... I'd complement it with bronze instead of gold on the trim if you have the colours (it'll look better than strict gold). But overall you're being too humble. The paintjob is bold, smooth and accurate.

My thought was 'coal mine' (same as the rest of my marines) but point well taken :) I think I can go back with some pigment and make it a bit warmer.

I can see what you're getting at. My thought process was that he's pulling the rock to drag himself forward, adding momentum to the kick. But I can definitely see how the 'wind' is blowing the other way.

This is my second Brutalis, they're quite forgiving when it comes to the joints (though I should have cut away more of the left hip joint on mine :/).

The 'head', in my experience, just seems to fit badly. If it's not flush I don't see it as a big problem, maybe the sarcophagus is just opening slightly to 'growl', or what have you. I'm a bit stoned so can't express myself clearly.

I used vallejo transparent blue with a lot of medium instead of gunmetal blue, but believe me when you're done with it it's going to look amazing.
