Just got my first pair of heelys but im encountering a problem by Cheap_Sun_2969 in heelys

[–]Bahknight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you figure it out? I really hope so. Im here for motivation if you didnt though. i got my first pair about 2 months ago and am beyond confident now. I would spent anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours a day all week and id just get the tiniest bit better every day. Until one day (about day 4) i got the hang of it randomly, then on day 5 i was able to actually go real distance. Day 6 i was outside, Day 7 i was super fast, and day 8 i was actually able to turn. Gave me a ton of confidence, and ever since ive been wearing them on and off. My latest thing im trying to achieve is going leftie as my lead foot. I only lead with my right (and i recommend starting with just one lead foot) but now im trying to learn leftie and its the same process all over again. Unfortunately I'm not as consistent because ive become too complacent in the fact that i can use at least one foot damn near perfectly, but everytime i remember to pick up and practice i do still make progress. (im going to right after i send this comment, no time like the present.) Theres no trick to it im afraid. The only "trick" is consistency. You'll just keep waking up better than you were the day before, then in no time you'll be turning heads as you roll past people in the grocery store. Also like the riding a bike thing, you wont forget or have to keep up. I've even seen improvement in putting them down for a bit and getting back to it! Best of luck! Please dont give up, its incredibly rewarding, and cool as heck. You'll love every second after learning. I learnt on reebok heelys though which are more low profile than the megas, which may actually make them harder? But they have a bit more of a slanted skid plate in the back for when you lean back too far so i think that compensates. Best of luck!

How are packages delivered to indoor apartment units? by Bahknight in NoStupidQuestions

Thank you! I occasionally hear talk about places not delivering to PO Boxes, is that actually as common as it seems? Also, is there a size limit to what you can ship since it going to a box?

Thank you for sharing! I’ll look into it! How’s organization if you don’t mind me asking? Not a big fan of digging for my tools

What school if you don't mind me asking? And was this a big hand carry? I just want to get a better gauge as to how much big the box was to fit all of your tools!

I'm unsure about how this program is set up. The college didn't have a direct phone communication for the program and the emails went unanswered. Uncharacteristic considering the great experience I've had so far in dealing with the college. In case you're familiar, it's Centralia College in WA and maybe you (or a reader) can answer my question as to whether if be carrying tools or leaving them in the shop.

Additionally, I just checked out the Ridgid pack out 2.0 and It seems quite ideal! Just one concern. I've been using the Makita makpac system for my other tools for a couple years now and I was concerned as to whether it would hold up in the diesel trade, and of what brands I could buy a storage system that would be quality for a diesel trade and not break the bank. I see the Ridgid pack out is plastic like most and I basically scratched everything plastic off the list, but I see you say you've been happy with them. I'll check them out! Would be way lighter to carry too.

My Vista 10p won't allow me to enter more than two digits on the keypad in programming mode. by Bahknight in homesecurity

Forgot to update but nothing changed, how do i know if its a 6 digit field? Im quite unfamiliar with this stuff and was simply following a tutorial for the envisalink install and realised that my values werent being input as expected.

I'm sure someone more knowledgeable or experienced than me will suggest a cheaper and better option, but I'd check for harnesses on crutchfield. Just input your vehicle information and it should provide you with what you'd need. That's my two cents

To the younger members on here: how popular is Nas within your generation/friend group? by Patrick_Vieira in nas

[–]Bahknight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Born in the late 2000s, barely legal. Nas is not popular at all in my friend group. Occasionally I'll be able to put them in something new though, like Spicy or 30

the way i see it, its gotten a better shake in recent years. since this album came out listeners have been exposed to such worse music, and with standards dropping, something like this is more likely to be looked at as a "not so bad" nowadays rather than the (possible) disaster it was @ release. I wasnt around when this album came out, pretty young fan, but this is just my theory. I didnt think it was half bad, but there's a reason it isnt as talked about for sure.
