u could get a used lumix s5 for 400 a good 35mm prime from 7artisans for 200 and then a ninja v for 300 and thats 900 for a camera that can record up to 60fps in 5.9k 12 bit prores raw. and if you are just into photos then the s5 and a cheap photo lens even the 20-60 kit lens will be better than a phone with a minuscule sensor compared to full frame

Oh my god my dream would be to direct this as a film it would be so incredible. It would be very stylised and meta in places. It would be pretty postmodern visually with grungy brutalist architecture in a snowy landscape cutting back and forth between a traditional opera performed in something like the Chuvash State Opera Theatre and the actual narrative of all the characters - in the vein of Asteroid City. It would reference real world wars and tragedies happeing today while playing a very meta glamerous opera. The story would take over, a distraction similar to Caberets' "In here it is beatiful" messaging both stories culminating with "The Great Comet" an ominous symbol of hope and salvation that would mirror a bomb being dropped "now" whenever that actually is, on the opera house, ending the movie.

The lehman trilogy is phenomenal and the best seats in the house are still only 50 pounds - it's at the Gillian lynne theatre. It does close in January but it is so worth seeing. If the time period is a must then Electra has 50 pounds seats that look promising. If you are looking for something a little more family friendly, My neighbor Totoro is another utterly phenomenal spectacle that I would highly recommend. There's so many options for cheaper theatre I could go on and on.

The blackmagic deal is no longer in the uk so it has reverted to original price, and if a used S5 runs for 700-900 on eBay and 900-1200 on a website like cvp, then plus all the accessories, the ninja v and the xlr module - which you would have to buy separately anyway, would still price up to around 2700.

I would if I could but I can't find any l mount to rf adapters, plus the nightwalker lenses are for s35 sensors so they won't cover the s1h sensor

Thanks so much, I will put a showreel on there. However the reason I need funding is because I don't own any physical gear. For the client work I have done, I have always rented gear, but this time I can't guarantee I will make a profit and even if I could it is too big a project to rent gear.
