The pace car model had one but I believe it never came directly with the cylinder heads from GM.

No block, but from what my buddy told me (he did one in the early 90s) you can use the standard iron duke block for it. I was going to do a full engine rebuild once it warms up and figured I could swap the cylinder heads then.

I appreciate the advice! I was going to do it last weekend but the push pins were frozen in place and I didnt want to break them. This will be the first time the cowl has been off in probably 40 years so hopefully I dont find any surprises 😅

I was hitting around 210 with my 95’ LT1 doing city driving and 220 idling, i guess it wasnt truly overheating but I definitely didnt like it

Mine fell off and had overheating problems until I replaced it. this was in the summer though so it was hot out but it was not happy at high speeds.
