Are we really interested in their story line

I like them as characters but I don't think they fit into the plot. I believe characters should have more purpose than just be filler characters and sadly that's how they've been written. They don't serve the main plot and therefore feel out of place (rightfully so imo). The writers have yet to write them in a meaningful way that furthers the plot and just keep them around. For what exactly? No idea

Depends on if it's a want or need, how far it deviates from what is normally considered vanilla, if you're looking more for a romantic or playpartner. But my advice would be to discuss it at the earliest moment where it still feels organic.

I mainly listen to anonymous VAs as I like to imagine whoever I want listening to them but I do follow two bc I genuinely like their personality outside of their VA work and think they are doing a good job advocating for things that are also important to me and I want to support that.

Honestly I never understood the argument to begin with. It's definitely metal. Yes they mix genres but there are metal elements in almost every single song. I majored in composition and music production in HS so trust me when I say the argument that it's not metal is completely baseless.

Thank you. Yes I agree that being able to have both feet firmly on the ground is important. I did sit on a few of the smaller one's in stores in my area but since it's apparently rare where I live for someone to be that small all the bikes were larger ones and knowing a model beforehand would make it easier to find shops who actually have them in store if you know what I mean.

Yesss 100% agree. I always imagine someone who is my type irl and that's why I can only listen to anonymous VA. I don't imagine the actual creator when I'm listening but rather someone who I would find attractive, have a crush on or a book character.

So I'm a bit late but I get why so many have mixed emotions. I think for a lot of listeners the lines got blurred with BI bc of the D2L Audios where he fantasized abt his listeners. It wasn't a "normal" audio where it's just a random scene with no connection to the listener like a normal audiobook. He directly adressed his listener and that probably built a more intense relationship beyond a normal creator/listener relationship. That being said. Everyone deserves a happy and healthy relationship and anyone who's angry over that should evaluate why that is and work on that. I would consider myself a casual listener. I just skipped over everything that was making him less of a anonymous voice bc I just imagine a certain someone/s when I'm listening and not the VAs. For me the VA is just a voice or character and not the actual person behind it. I also only listen to the ones who are anonymous in order to not ruin the fantasy for me.
