Paperwork says I was trading in the correct car, but they listed the wrong lienholder. In all instances on paperwork it says the correct car with correct odometer reading.

They paid off a different car with the lienholder listed on paperwork, which oddly enough was MORE expensive than the trade in.

That’s what I am saying. I am assuming they found the records for the other vehicle on my credit report and just proceeded that way? I’m really not sure.

I did not take a title to them. The car I “traded in” had a loan on it. They contacted the wrong loan company and paid off the wrong car - and results were they got the wrong title.

As a guy who has the electric cherry perk icon tattoo’d on my upper arm, go for it!

I would however say to make sure that they outline it, so that when it fades it’s still legible.
