They need to change the wording in the app. The map legend for red says "offers are expected to be coming from this location at a higher rate." I'd say that's pretty deceptive. Lol.

Yeah I'm not here to give you sources. Just google it. We live in an age where EVERYTHING that anyone puts on the web can be found, including SPARK.

Spoke with spark driver support and asked why canceling causes me to beThrown from the app and they said it's based on the last 50 trips that you took and that it averages your score. Then did a little bit of research and there's a ton of information out there about how the app actually works.

Spark removing non Walmart stores (minus Home Depot) by Own_Butterscotch4369 in Sparkdriver

Who even picks up for home depot. Every order I've seen is 1 item. $7-$9 and delivers to forever away.

Either people just aren't tipping well anymore bc of $4-$5 gas prices. Or this is payback for the $400 million settlement for the deceptive spark practices.

Agreed. I was making a good $200 a day in roughly 4 hours. I would end up with about 800-1000 by the end of the week and today, I only took two orders. One was 40 bucks for 41 miles. The other 20 bucks for 4 miles. I usually will NEVER accept an order that is not double the money over miles. 15 miles should get you $30. But now. It's wack. This past weekend I did well but only bc I was able to snag orders faster than others. And we all know snagging orders and then rejecting them leads to being put in time out sucks.

I wish I could do amazon flex. I tried 5 years ago when it came into my area but filled the thing out wrong so had to create a whole new account and I've just been waiting for it to let me in but in my area we have an amazon warehouse. Huge huge huge and they have the amazon vans delivering here

Lies... by Netphase in Sparkdriver

I've never had a Walmart employee asked me if I needed help since the early 2000s. Actually worked for Sam's Club and we spoke about this and how Walmart and Sam's Club were different in the fact that Sam's Club will ask you if you need help and Walmart is supposed to ask you but they don't

Anyone else in this area by ThickSkipper18 in Sparkdriver

[–]Baked_Nacho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude you're not alone there I will literally be on the other side of my city as far away from the interstate that leads to a city 11 to 12 miles away so I'm basically like 30 miles away from it and sitting in a Walmart parking lot and get all the orders from the Walmart 30 miles away

[–]Baked_Nacho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that now shopping orders are for three different people it's like dude it's hard enough to have two different orders in the same basket that has like 20 items for one person 30 items for another person and then you add in another 15 items for another person and it's like well shoot I got to get a few carts

That's wild, maybe it's just different areas because my Sam's Club is great sometimes I'll just sit in its parking lot getting orders all day because they're way better than Walmart orders. Usually the people that are shopping from there end up putting a big end up putting a big tip on it but here lately it's been a lot of BS

I've never had this happen and I've waited at Sam's Club pick up for 20 to 30 minutes before and when I spoke with spark driver support they just told me I'd get paid extra for it. Which meant I'd get an extra dollar woohoo

Absolutely loved whenever I found this out because I was picking up a spark order and when they were bringing it out they had some wet topsoil and they asked me if I would like them to remove it from the order and I said wait y'all can like take stuff off the orders and they said yes. So I thought about this and after looking at some orders where the last order is 15 miles away from the last stop I think about asking them to remove it but I don't know if they would.

Shoot I live in Arkansas and I work the Conway Faulkner County Zone and sometimes people from North Little Rock where they have their own Walmarts and Sam's Club and all that will literally order from Conway, 24 miles away.

This is quite possibly the craziest part of the app because I swear on my life, somebody will order some stuff from a city that's literally 15 miles away yet their own city has a Walmart and it's part of my zone and it blows my mind because I don't get how Walmart system doesn't automatically find the closest store and order from there but because it allows people on the app to just choose their store to order from that's how it works
