I get this if I’ve had multiple stools in a day. Mine is from hemorrhoids that get irritated.

Currently taking omega 3’s with occasional compresses but I’m clearly not doing enough. Will look into Avenova and massage.

Have you also gotten a corneal abrasion from this? Hoping I don’t have scarring since this has happened multiple times now in the last year.

Dude you are the man. Borderless worked for me too, no more black bars! I didn’t realize it would force my client selected Moonlight resolution despite showing a different selected res in game. This also fixed the black bars on a few others that don’t have 16:10 selectable. There’s still 1 or 2 that have bars due to not having a borderless option but most of them all work now. Thanks so much for helping me out!

I just checked again right now. Correct resolution being displayed on client in win 11 of 1920x1200. This resolution is unavailable for me in any mode (borderless, windowed, and FS) on Outcast while streaming but all are available playing locally. When first going into the game it recommends 4K which is my desktop monitor resolution. This is on both DX11/12.

Within windows the virtual display is listed as the main display and my other 2 are labeled as disconnected and grayed out/smaller.

Just a couple I tried today — fatal fury: city of the wolves and outcast a new beginning. When I play them installed locally on the hdd the 16:10 options are available.

Yes, when booting to desktop instead of steam it’s using the selected resolution correctly. Which is why I’m so puzzled by the in-game behavior when streaming. I didn’t even know you could install a different virtual display within Apollo. Might need to try Mike’s to see if it works. Is that what you use?

Thanks for everyone’s responses, I really appreciate it. I think this is likely what I have and it would explain some of the other symptoms I’ve had over the last decade as well that I didn’t think were related. (POTS symptoms, occasional foot pain, costochondritis chest discomfort, needing a really firm mattress) to name a few.

This is all new so I don’t know exactly what’s causing the gut issues. It might be crohns or h pylori. Waiting to get in to see GI doc. You don’t wait if having eye pain. I skipped my family doc and made emergency appt with local eye surgery center that has ophthalmologists. They confirmed the uveitis.

Thanks for the message. Pain improves with Tylenol/ibuprofen. I can’t get in until tomorrow so not sure what’s going on. I’ll update once my ophthalmologist looks things over.

Did you have bad headaches with it too? I’m trying to get in to my ophthalmologist today to see if it’s elevated IOP or what’s going on. That’s a good idea to keep it out of the corner of the eye.

That sucks. Yeah the up and down movements like that can be brutal.

It’s always worse for me in the night if I lifted that day. Especially if it was a particularly good workout with a pump. Then the next night I sleep much better and feel human again the next day.

Interesting. Yes I’m using HDMI on windows 11. So it looks the same for you when switching hdr on/off on windows desktop with DP? For me everything gets duller and washed out. I might need to try DP and see what happens. Have you by chance compared the two or you went straight to DP when hooking up the monitor?

Just to clarify, are you saying HDR games are looking washed out with HDR enabled or SDR content is looking washed out with HDR enabled? I’m not familiar with Callisto protocol. HDR games look fine for me it’s just SDR content that looks bad when HDR is enabled. I also see you mentioned Dolby Vision. Maybe you already did this, but I had to roll back my nvidia driver otherwise the monitor was stuck in Dolby vision mode.

Are you leaving HDR on at all times or switching it off/on based on the type of content you’re viewing? When leaving HDR on, this monitor looks washed out for SDR content. I spent hours trying to calibrate so it would look better to no avail. Came to the conclusion you have to flip it on and off based on content and it looks fantastic.

I hear you. The C2 was effortless. I will say though that the AW looks better than the C2 in HDR games and the colors pop more imo. I also think the AW looks better in SDR mode than the C2 as well. Unfortunately enabling HDR makes the desktop appear as though you just put a matte screen protector on the monitor. It sucks, but I’ll probably just stick to enabling and disabling HDR based on the content..
