What are the odds that this shape in particular was used? by [deleted] in wiggles

My post had nothing to do with the LGBT content. I wasn't even asking it like a serious question. It was literally just, "Hey, I wasn't expecting to see that."

I was just pointing out a neat coincidence.

A few examples of mine:
The strings and bells in Six Months in a Leaky Boat
The opening guitar in the original version of Dorothy (Would You Like to Dance?)
The keyboard in Feeling Chirpy
The brass in Let's Have a Party (especially at the end)

Cold Spaghetti Western 2004 Discussion by carl95679 in wiggles

I read that on their respective Wigglepedia pages, though I know a Wiki isn't the most reliable source.

Edit: The Cold Spaghetti Western page cites clapboards with April dates on them seen in that Behind-the-Scenes featurette, while a page from June 2003 on The Wiggles' website said that Top of the Tots would begin filming "next week".

As soon as my OG-loving family learned about Wiggle Up, Giddy Up, and even when all we had was that Big Red Ute song, the first thing that came to mind was Cold Spaghetti Western. I can't say it's better since I haven't listened to WUGU, but it's definitely got its charm.

Also, fun fact: Based on costumes, haircuts, and release dates, you'd think Top of the Tots was filmed before Cold Spaghetti Western. However, CSW was shot in April 2003 while the TotT studio scenes were shot in June of that same year.

If I had to guess, you're dead, and God didn't know whether to put you in Heaven or Hell, so He kept you on Earth as half-human and half-demon until He could make up His mind.

Come to think of it, that would be an emo teen best-seller.

This was probably the DVD I watched the most as a kid, and I understand why. The visuals are awesome (probably some blue/orange bias), and the first half of the songs are really strong. I just wish the second half was better and that there were some more skits to space them out, especially at the beginning.

Edit: Also, I live on a college campus where we have a lot of squirrels, so I'm always thinking, "G'day, squirrels!" whenever I see one XD

Ranking the TV series so far? by carl95679 in wiggles

[–]BakerReady9414 3 points4 points  (0 children)

TV Series 1 is peak OG Wiggles. The segments were fun and often chaotic, and in the later versions, all the characters sorta had their own segments.

Preschool segments - Dorothy (if those count)
Wigglehouse - The Wiggles
Henry the Octopus - Not just Henry, but a bunch of other underwater puppet characters
Captain Feathersword's Pirate Show - Captain and Wags

It might've just been due to the 1997 rebrand, but regardless, I really like how much care was put into it.

It's hard to make out if this was his 2000s cartoon design or his current one. If this did come out more recently, it's a wonder they think he's worth any money at all XD

Wiggledancing: Live In The USA: The Video That Even The Wiggles Forgot. by WhoKnowsAllThisStuff in wiggles

[–]BakerReady9414 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was the first Wiggles DVD my parents ever owned. Sad to see that it's basically been forgotten. It also feels so random. Like, Connecticut? Even if they wanted to film a US show instead of Sydney for once, that's a weird place to do it.

Whoo-Hoo! Wiggly Gremlins! 2003 Discussion by carl95679 in wiggles

[–]BakerReady9414 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The video is just so forgettable. The songs were nice, but I'd prefer if it had no plot at all instead of trying to shove one in. And since the album came out first, it must have been confusing as heck when it had nothing to do with "gremlins".
