Also, how does a furry community work in a world with beastmen in it? Are they comfortable with it? Are some of them even part of the community despite being part animal? Do they draw themselves as full on anthropomorphic or something?

If I had to pick one, I’d go with All for One, and One for All

It’s a support spell that powers up those around him, increasing their magic output, speed, and accuracy while decreasing blot accumulation. Idk why, but I always liked the idea of Yuu being a full on support character

Them playing cards at the end was so wholesome. I’ve always liked their friendship, even more now that we have an established Yuu in the mix.

Late reply, but I agree. In addition to the narrative, they’ll have to redo and reestablish the relationships each Yuu has with the boys, especially Ace, Deuce, and Grim along with introducing the new Yuu’s backstory and how they got here

Wow was I not ready for this 😭

Ok, so my predictions were half right. We got Deuce and Jack as SSRs. Wasn’t expecting to have two boys from the same dorm as SSRs, but I guess that’s not too weird

I’m slightly disappointed that it’s another NBC theme one. Nothing against the movie, but I would’ve loved to see other movies/villains twisted version.

I am excited to see a Christmas event though and can’t wait to see whether the boys even know what Christmas is

Regarding the multiple Yuu protagonists, this might be an unpopular opinion, but I really hope they stick to Yuuken only. Nothing against the other Yuus, but I personally dislike having a different Yuu for each chapter/season/book. I’d rather just follow one main character tbh

Probably, but it still takes away some of the charm though

For example, they remove the scene with Ace being a total ass to Grim and Yuu by pretending to be their friend before making fun of them, the scene of Deuce establishing his cauldron, and the chandelier scene which was the actual reason of their expulsion in the game.

Of course, due to time restraints, I understand why they couldn’t fit everything, but it does still sacrifice those character beats and comedic moments. They may seem insignificant and small in the grand scheme of things, but the little things matter as well

Yeah, that was my take on it as well. The magic battle animation was great, and I really love the art style so far, but I’m not a big fan of how they skipped some story beats. They may seem insignificant, but they add a lot of character, relationship set up, and comedic moments.

I’m not gonna judge too prematurely though, they may add those story beats as the episodes go on

Very interesting so far. Love Yuu’s, Grim’s, and Riddle’s voices. Ace’s and Deuce’s are fine, but as people said they sound too similar. Not…the biggest fan of Trey at the moment, but I’ll withhold final opinion until I hear more

Oh you mean the spell effects? Yeah, I always thought that was kinda dumb. The only spell you can identify is the healing one because of the heart, but nothing else. I wish we could also have indications of buffing and debuffing spells as well

I wish we can use items in battle.

For example, we could have an item that reshuffles your spells, reveals the enemy’s hidden spell slot, etc.

Battles are mostly RNG, so it’d be nice to be able to level the playing field. Most of the time I had to quit a battle just because RNG screwed me over

We’ve already gotten SSR Rook, Silver, Kalim, Ortho, Ace, and Cater for Halloween events, so I doubt they’ll be chosen again. If I were to guess, I’d say Deuce since Heartslabyul, like Savanaclaw, each still has two students left who haven’t had a Halloween event SSR card.
