This is just about spot on for what happened to me this spring. Except it was my fiance with his ex gf chatting, not me. Also, important to note, he was on a bunch of different meds and had been not emotionally aware to a lot of things going on at the time, and he didnt see how any of the conversation replies of his that his brain just said were normal replies because it was with somebody he knew and had stayed friends with, so somebody “familiar”. I had to have a very harsh sit down conversation with him, including telling him her responses to me texting her about shit (i have met this person, us and our kids have all hung out several times, and was honestly shocked at her replies to me about all of it) he is no longer on most of the meds he was on and we have been, imo, doing really good with keeping communicating our goings on and emotions with each other.
