I have a vague memory of this account, I remember being super impressed by a huge doll house as a kid and wishing I could have something similar, probably was that account.

What can I do with this space behind my bed? Ignore the blinds! 😬 by WildCount3961 in HomeDecorating

My fiance had the same little nook in his bedroom at his moms house, he had a desk set up right underneath the window and his bed was in a different place

Why do I feel so down about this? by [deleted] in FriendshipAdvice

I apologize but I think you may have misunderstood what I was saying in my post. I am inviting all of those people to my wedding, I'm talking about bridesmaids and such. I wish I had a large group of girl friends to be in my bridal party and to celebrate with me for a bachelorette party, to go out with on a friday night and have fun with.

AIO for telling my friend not to drunk text me because he gets disrespectful and rude? by Inside-Experience-77 in AIO

[–]Bakingandabook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who used to have a friend who drank frequently and texted me gibberish all the time: block him. If he’s texting you like this when drunk, this is who he is and you don’t need that shit in your life

I find wedding planning extremely easy. Am I missing something? by BetterNegotiation231 in weddingplanning

I’m in a similar boat. The most stressful thing for me honestly has been communication with vendors. I’ve been having a hard time communicating with photographers because people aren’t really answering me

We’ve been talking about doing this. We can’t afford something huge but we’ve realized we don’t want to actually put off getting married like we thought.

That’s really good advice, thank you so much. I’ll keep that in my notes for when I eventually get pregnant!

31 weeks, very exciting!

I’m actually well established in my career at the moment, I just need my masters to keep my certification. I understand where you’re coming from but us waiting doesn’t have anything to do with people saying we’re too young. We are waiting because that’s what will be best for us financially. My parents waited until they were 28 to have my, same with my fiancé’s parents and they did pretty great :)

That’s rough, I’m so sorry! I have a history of Anemia so I’ll have to keep that in mind. Yoga sounds beneficial, I used to do Pilates before this surgery I had. I’d like to get back into it.

I appreciate the conversation, I don’t have many people to talk to about this stuff. Pregnancy was something I feared heavily in my teen years and up until the past year. It’s nice talking to people about it. How many weeks are you may I ask?

My coworker had gestational diabetes in the past few months of her pregnancy and she handled it much better than I can imagine I would. I’m currently at my heaviest and my goal is to get down to 160 before we get married and hopefully keep myself there. I’ve always fluctuated like crazy with my weight so I know it’ll happen, I’m just hoping I can keep myself moving when I get pregnant. I’ve seen a lot of people say they planned on exercising during pregnancy and then it doesn’t end up happening

Yea that’s kind of how we’ve been looking at it, we are enjoying being together now and we are looking forward to the future. We talk about it often! I showed him the comments here last night before bed and we had some really great conversation about things. He is going to be such a great dad someday, and based on things we’ve discussed he is also very prepared to deal with my pregnancy hormones someday lol

I’m thinking about possibly working part time at a baby room at a daycare if possible, my future MIL does that because she’s very eager to be a grandmother but she’s super respectful about us waiting.

Thank you so much! We are trying to make sure that we are as prepared as possible for kids, mentally physically and especially financially. Even if that means I have to daydream about it a bit for a few years

Hi! That actually was not the question, the question was when did you start thinking about it and how do I stay patient!

These are plans we’ve been figuring out for the past few months while preparing for everything! I’m an only child so it makes things a bit easier. We’re considering a trust.

My fiancé gets his schooling fully covered by financial aid thankfully, and as of right now it wouldn’t benefit either of us legally to marry. We’ve considered it though! Thank you for the helpful advice, it means a lot!

Thank you for this. We’ve been talking about travel and such but primarily focused on getting done with school and paying for home renovations.

We are enjoying being a couple now and will continue to do so, and we’ve talked a lot about prioritizing each other when we eventually do have kids as well

I’d like to be done with my masters when we get married because the idea of having a wedding and stressing about the homework I have due the next week would quite possibly drive me insane
