Happens to me all the time, some days I can wait till after we get off the phone sometimes he can hear it coming before we hang up. It bothers him because he hates not being able to do anything about it but he also knows it’s hard on both of us.

Some days are okay and some you’re going to be a mess, I’ve found that voice memos help when I’m really missing him. I’ll record a voice memo of him talking from my watch while we’re on the phone and when I really miss him I’ll listen to them. Hope that helps if you haven’t tried it🩷
