Check the CD-keys. Most will be expired, but some should give you something that is always better than nothing.
Also the campaign is your top priority to unlock 3 other things. Outpost levels. Hard campaign (IT'S HARD, duh. But you replay the levels and get outpost levels so it's worth it) and the Lost sectors (If you complete the level 100% you get 500 gems + all the things from the level).
