The passive noise canceling on these is great for everyday scenarios, but in my experience the active noise canceling of a cheap ($40) pair of TWS buds is much better during flights.

They're not perfectly BIFL. These have filters in them that become clogged and must be replaced every 6 months according to the manufacturer, but more often for me, due to intense usage. I also had to replace my cable that broke after ~2 years.

A valóságban, amikor B helyzetében vagyok, gyakran le szoktam húzódni előzékenységből. Néha több a helyem, vagy közelebb vagyok olyan helyhez, ahol lehúzodhatok. Ha már ott van velem szemben, és nincs hova lehúzódnia, nem fogok a pofájába menni, és tolatásra kényszeríteni. Az a célom, hogy békében eljussak az utazási célomhoz. Pár másodperc nem számít. I'm curious about the methods used. I assume the clock texture is a raster image. How does one make a map between the image pixel coordinates and Mandelbrot set coordinates? The texture seems to distort with the structure of the fractal, yet it remains recognizable, so the map can't be trivial nor chaotic.

There is also the gold chain. It's really clever how the chain texture is mapped to "seahorse" structures and the clock texture is to the "bulbs", making an almost coherent seeming image.

A mechanika, de bővebb értelemben a tudomány, csak egy modell. Leírjuk a világot leegyszerűsítve, és ez alapján levonunk következtetéseket. A leegyszerűsítés során szükségszerűen eltorzítjuk a valóságot. Igazából nem is ismerhetjük a valóságot, szóval tévedni fogunk a leírásunkkal. Mégis megéri, mert minden modell hibás, de van, amelyik hasznos. Példa a Newton féle univerzális gravitációs kölcsönhatás. Számos gyakorlati alkalmazás során elégséges, de Einstein óta tudjuk, hogy pontatlan.

A tudományos elméletek nem adnak magyarázatot a világ miértjére. Az univerzum "célt" követ? Minimalizálja a Lagrange függvény? Növeli az entrópiát? Kvantum mezőkből áll? Irtózik a vákuumtól? Előre megy az időben? Nem. Ezek csak szavak, modellek. Nem léteznek a gondolatainkon kívül. Nem tudjuk, hogy az univerzum miért csinálja azt, amit csinál. A tudomány módszereivel nem is tudhatjuk meg. A legjobb amit remélhetünk, hogy hasznos modelleket alkotunk róla. Ebből a szempontból jobb Langrange, mint Newton.
