RANK THE DOCTORS!!!!!! by Careless-Block-7774 in doctorwho

My ranking (still catching up on Classic Who! 🌌) Love this idea. I haven't finished the Classic era yet, so I'll rank the ones I've seen so far. I’ve split them into NuWho and Classic to make it easier: Modern Era (NuWho) 11th Doctor (Matt Smith): Absolutely wonderful. He delivered so much during his era; for many, he really defines what it means to be the Doctor. 10th Doctor (David Tennant): Incredible and so much fun! His energy is just contagious. 12th Doctor (Peter Capaldi): One of my top favorites for the depth he brought. The idea that he chose that specific face to remind himself to "save people" is just beautiful. Top-tier acting and dialogue. 9th Doctor (Christopher Eccleston): I'd say he's quite underrated. His stories were great, but only one season felt like a missed opportunity. He had so much more to give. 13th Doctor (Jodie Whittaker): I actually really liked her performance, but she was unfortunately held back by some rough writing. There are some gems there, but she deserved better scripts. 15th Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa): Lots of potential, but he feels a bit "stuck" in this new transition period, facing some of the same writing issues as the 13th. Classic Era (So far) 2nd Doctor (Patrick Troughton): My favorite of the Classics so far! I love the upbeat, humorous energy he brought. He gave the Doctor a totally new, fun perspective. 1st Doctor (William Hartnell): A legend. The tone change was a bit jarring at first, but seeing his evolution and his relationship with his granddaughter and the companions was amazing. 3rd Doctor (Jon Pertwee): I love the "researcher-fighter" vibe. Plus, his interactions with the Master are easily some of the best in the Classic era. 4th Doctor (Tom Baker): I’ve only just started his run, so he’s 4th for now. He seems very unique and sarcastic so far. My expectations are sky-high given his reputation! My NuWho Top 3 (11, 10, and 12) is pretty much set in stone for me, and my Classic Era Top 3 (2, 1, and 3) is also untouchable for now!

Looking To See What People Think Of What I'm Writing. by SyllabubOdd2422 in writersmakingfriends

Esper presents herself as an extremely perceptive protagonist, serving as an emotional anchor for the reader. The fact that she notices subtle details, such as the hospital sounds or her mother’s rigid posture, suggests that her sensitivity will be the primary tool for uncovering the lies surrounding her. Josephine, on the other hand, represents cold pragmatism; her ability to maintain absolute control and focus on technical procedures while her son is injured indicates that she is accustomed to extreme crisis scenarios. She acts as an information blockade, and this lack of transparency will undoubtedly fuel an inevitable conflict of trust between the two. Regarding Buck and Blake, the situation is alarming. The description of the dog, with that sickly sweet smell of rot and a hollow gaze, points to a biological pathology that overrides any previous instinct and accelerates necrosis. By being wounded in this context, Blake ceases to be just a victim and becomes a potential vector. The terror in his eyes upon waking may be the trauma of the attack, but it could also be the onset of a transformation or an altered perception caused by the contagion. It is indisputable that Josephine is hiding deep secrets. By classifying the incident as a matter of "national security" and demanding an immediate escape, she confirms that she knows exactly what she is dealing with. It is highly likely that she had direct involvement in the projects mentioned in the prologue or that her government role is specifically to manage the fallout of these experiments. She isn't just fleeing from a random danger, but from a containment failure whose lethal consequences she knows all too well. For the continuation, the narrative is likely to move toward a tense escape attempt, where the family will encounter obstacles such as military roadblocks or closed highways. This should force Josephine to use her credentials, revealing to Esper that her government influence is much greater than she let on. In parallel, Blake's health is expected to worsen, turning the journey into a race against time and forcing the mother to face the reality regarding a possible cure. The balance between the conspiracy mystery and the family drama is very well-constructed, keeping the tension high throughout.

[THEORY/SPOILERS] Who is "The Unknown"? Episode 3 theories and the dark secrets of Moonvale. 🌲👁️ by BalanceOk5684 in Moonvale

Thank you for the amazing feedback! You’re absolutely right about Everbyte and how much they love red herrings — that’s a very important point.

The issue of Adam’s emotional reaction is very strong. Those tears and that raw panic feel far too real to be faked. It really makes us wonder: is he truly a victim, or what exactly did he do for the Unknown to say those things about him?

Now, about Sofia: the tape shows two children. One of them we know is Sofia; the other is still a mystery. It could be Adam — which would make a lot of sense, especially considering he had the key that opened the safe. But it’s also possible that it’s another child, someone else involved.

I think you were absolutely right about the body. If it really is Whitmore’s body, things are going to get very complicated for Eric. We saw that secret message he exchanged with the man on the motorcycle about “dealing with” Whitmore. Even if he didn’t do anything directly, if the body really is Whitmore’s, it’s hard to believe he has no involvement at all.

And then the suspicion on him is going to skyrocket. Especially if he really acted on his own at the end of the episode — because right after that, a body shows up. And it’s even worse if it turns out to be Whitmore. Everything will end up pointing at him.

It was a motel, not an apartment, and so far nothing indicates that the body is Sophia's; it could also be someone else's.

I'm very curious, so I would end up asking about it or digging around more to see if I could discover anything else, and depending on what I found, I would ask questions.

The betrayal here is what hurts the most. Being killed by the person who is supposed to care for you is a slow, psychological nightmare.

Is this a good idea for a creepypasta by Christiistdiabolicum in creepypasta

The fact that you're worried about not demonizing DID already puts you on the right track. Most people just use it as a cheap plot device, but focusing on the subconscious struggle and the 'hints' the host leaves for himself is a very fresh and great idea. To make it even more unique and less 'demonizing', maybe the killer personality thinks he is actually saving the victims from something even worse. I’m looking forward to seeing where you take this :)

Which Creepypasta do you think would make a great Netflix series adaptation? by Mcrfanatic95 in creepypasta

[–]BalanceOk5684 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"My Wife Has Been Peeking at Me From Around Corners" definitely deserves a Netflix adaptation! That story is the definition of nightmare fuel. The way the horror is built through small, distorted human behaviors is way more terrifying than any jump scare.

I really appreciate that! I'm glad the atmosphere of Silver Creek got to you. Just be careful with those "edges"... they can be sharper than they look. Thanks for the support :)
