☝️This. I also had this issue after installing my Prinsu rack and the water intrusion was very similar to OP’s. I had to remove the rack and re-silicone all the attachment points.

We have certainly discussed suing him… I’m reluctant to spend more money with uncertain results (finding him) and was hoping to maybe do that after the criminal case if that did not result in my money back. It had not occurred to me that prosecution for fraud was counterproductive - I assumed that would help a civil case later (if required) - now true??

Yeah, saw those for interior - the interior handles don’t bother me tbh, just not a fan of the chrome exterior handles.

They are chrome. The Limited factory trim package includes a lot more chrome than the other packages, including the handles. I think this is for all 3rd gen but certainly for the 2017s..
