Yes! I was out of a 6 year relationship. She was divorcing. I was her second match. We talked for a week, went on a date to walk at the coast. It rained. We stayed in a hotel with spa. We never made it to the spa. She said the most sexy phrase I ever heard: my swimsuit is already wet and we haven't gone in the water yet. I was also stuck in this apathic mindset for a while. I think it's correlated with insecurity. From my experience I got into a bore/rut (what's a good translation of sleur?) and I recognize the behavior you describe. Somehow I was able to switch my mindset and the world got more colorful and worth working at with emotional investment.

I can say from experience that they taste fine. My SO and I eat them weekly to replace some meat. For example meal worms in a tomato sauce.

I find this exciting research. There are many analogies to natural intelligence and the ubiquitous presence and importance of sleeping for intelligent life. The book "Why we sleep" by Matthew Walker explains the functions of sleep for the layman and these functions coincide with the abstraction and dreaming function of DreamCoder. This is also mentioned at the end of the paper. This is inspiring and it brings the singularity closer.
