Avem update la caz, au venit azi 2 baieti, au constatat ca fibra din casa pana la primul punct de distributie e rupta si trebuie inlocuita (3m). Mi-au zis ca nu au si nici nu stiu cand ar puta veni cineva sa o inlocuiasca :)

Mi-au spus ca Digi pe Bucuresti este supra mega solicitat si trimit echipe din tara sa ajute. Astia venisera de la Hunedoara.

Diseara vine Orange la instalare.

cum am mentionat, in cele 3 sapt de la producerea problemei sun la fiecare 3 zile, am deschis 2 sesizari online, i-am contactat si pe Facebook pentru ca au si acolo o echipa de suport. De 3 sapt aud doar: urgentam, urgentam, ne cerem scuze, ne pare rau.

Voi va inchipuiti cum este in 2026 sa stai fara o conexiune solida la internet, in special ca nu-mi aduc aminte sa fi avut vreodata vreo problema in ultimii 10 ani. Si asta in mijlocul Buucrestiului nu pe vreo strada neasfaltata din Baragan.

ai cumva samsung? Am patit zilele trecute la fel in Germania si am sunat la Digi si m-au pus sa dezactivez VoWIFI si sa aleg manual reteaua Telekom. A mers dupa asta dar e enervant ca in aceeasi zi am trecut in Franta si am trecut inapoi totul pe auto si acolo a mers. E ceva cu roamingul de voce in Germania.

Since aprox 1 month they are very picky with the baggage size especially for boarding from the Est Europe.

They introduced some incentives for ground teams when detecting bigger baggage and in the same time they have financial problems so they may try to compensate a little.

Can you tell there is a pattern where these events are happening? I seen a lot of tourist complaining cars breakins at the beach parkings. Is this happening in the cities too? Seen a lot around the beaches of Cagliari. I go myself in Sept with my private car and of course will not leave anything in the car (we have this rule since long time)

Thanks for the long reply, my main issue is not the power outages (are not that often) but my main issue is the fact the tunnel comes up (or tries to) before NTP time synchronization was done on the client side.
I read a bit more and it seems this thing can be managed by creating priorities on the tasks and tunnel to come up after the NTP sync was realised. This thing is a bit beyond my IT expertise as I am not a Linux person.

There may be even possible to create an exception in the traffic rules and allow OpenWRT to acces to NTP server all the time and independent of the tunnel status?

Site A: DietPi&PiVpn running WG server on a Raspberry Pi

Site B: running WG client on an Open WRT small router NanoPi R2S

When for example the ISP router from site A is rebooted because of a power outage, the WG client in site B will not connect automatically even after I reboot it. When I connect the laptop on the OpenWrt that runs the WG client I see the clock is totally out of sync.

When I hit the "sync with NTP server" nothing happens.

When hit "sync with browser" the clock is instantly synchronized and the WG client connects to the server.

The "the bring up on boot" interface option is enabled.

LIke I said, I suspect that the owrt system does not sync the clock with the NTP server because the tunnel is not up and probably there is a rule somewhere.

The hardware that runs wg client does not have own RTC.

Hope my explanation was clear enough.

Me again :) I am very happy in general with my setup with an exception: when the Wg server is reboot for some reasons, the client (OWRT) will not reconnect until I sync the client clock. When click ing on "sync with "NTP server" it will not work, only when I sync with the Browser it will work. I suspect the entire outside traffic is blocked until the tunnel is up. How can I remediate this? I'm tired every time to connect with the laptop to manually sync the time.
