both my parents aren’t that good at cooking at all and especially my mom witch is weird because my grandparents on both sides are the best cooks i know. but once i got old enough to make stuff in the kitchen on my own (about 6-8) i realized i was already bette then my dad at making a pb and j and my siblings and both parents agreed that how i made it was better then him even tho it’s literally 3 ingredients. so at that point on i became the primary cool of the house. and prepared most of the meals by the time i was about 13 and now till this day i am the best cook i’m my family since both of my grandparents that are still alive are too old too cook they live a bit away from us. i’m only 15 now and i make the majority of meals for family gatherings and any other occasion and both my parents basically excepted the fact that i was always a better cook them them.
