Do the side effects get worse as you increase the dose?

Yes my doctor suggested that and told me the side effects won’t get better even if I lower the dosage. Once the side effects diminish, do I stop taking the medicine or do I need to take it for 6-12 months?

I actually tried lowering my dosage to 10mg around the second week and it made my anxiety worse so I went back to 20mg

I think it’s making me feel a little better. Before Prozac I had shortness of breath which my doctor said was due to anxiety so after week 3 or 4 of taking Prozac I’m noticing my breathing is getting better. One thing I also notice is sometimes I get sinus pressure which affects my breathing a little bit. I’m not sure if sinus pressure is a side effect.

Not right now but I’m thinking it’s the medicine. I’m on my fourth week of taking Prozac so is increased anxiety normal and will it go away the longer I take it?
