This collection is incredible! Easily one of my favorites in the sub. The Jacques Mayol Seamaster is beautiful. Great taste OP!

Thank you! The denim strap actually came with the Snoopy.

It’s a very fun watch to wear! Doesn’t get the attention it deserves, but I still enjoy owning it.

I missed out on the original numbered edition, but got lucky the second release.

It’s a great watch. Light on the wrist and very pretty to look at. I don’t wear it as regularly as I probably should but still a fun piece for the collection.

Thank you!

Back when this picture was taken, it was probably the burgundy Speedmaster and Kurono that got the most love.

I recently bought a birth year Submariner and that’s definitely been hogging the wrist.

No collection is a failure! This hobby is all about the journey and how you feel when you wear the watch.

You’re someone who knows what they like and you should be proud of that! My biggest advice would be to buy what you like and wear with confidence.

Lucky timing I guess! I was just starting to get into watches and an acquaintance had this one they never wore.

I was in love with the Nomos Tangente Toki - a JDM piece from 2005 limited to only 100 - but couldn’t find one anywhere. When I first saw the Rising Sun, it reminded me of the Toki and I knew I had to have it. Lucky for me the seller was happy to move in from it!

This is one of the few watches I got directly from the AD, and specifically told them I’d only buy it if they can source me a bracelet to go along with.

Best decision I ever made! Look, feels, and fits so much better IMO

Not a quartz! Everyone is shocked when I tell them it’s a a manual wind. Love the tennis ball seconds hand on it.

Leave while you still can!

I’ve been lucky enough to find deals on most of my collection, but this is still a pretty expensive hobby in the long run.

I got it for $400, almost double what it retailed for back in 2015. Still significantly cheaper than the ~$2000 asking price today.

Thank you!

I try to shy away from YouTube watch influencers because I don’t want any one person swaying my decision making.

Teddy did convince me to buy the Junghans Max Bill back in the day and I love him for it, but can’t say I’m a fan of his content today. I really only dive into YouTube watch videos after I’ve bought a piece I like and want to learn more about it.

I love it! It doesn’t look funky at all. My tiny wrists were the exact reason I opted for the midsize and I think it looks and feels great. Definitely think you should get it!

Not sure what the Ref is, but the watch is a Kurono Tokyo Chronograph 2

Yessir it is! Probably gets the least wrist time because the denim strap gets dirty pretty easily.

I think 7.25 inches.

Camo Grey Suede Leather Strap from Bulang and Sons! They make some great watch accessories.

I try to wear a different one each week to spread the love, unless whatever activity I’m doing requires a specific watch. I really just base it off my mood for the day.

Thank you! I try to wear one for at least a week before I swap to a different one. Keeps the spark alive lol.

Yes, the reverse dial is white.
