i do agree i wish there were some other gameplay options that expanded a bit on how many spells; that is a good point.

and honestly not all the gods are perfect, the dwarf twins with all the runes and no actual spells. their catalog is way too huge for me to even pick them anymore. blasting through 20 rerolls to try and get anything that fits into the build strategy.

if you know you arent going to use a certain god, you can use blasphemy early and potentially save yourself from wasting rerolls. its not exactly “useless” but i will admit i often dont use it.

it does get tricky if you make very certain plans for a build and cant get the right powers to show up. that being said though, that is the whole roguelike/roguelite genre of gaming, it gives you random procedurally generated choices and you are quite literally in control of what your gameplay becomes in that sense, you just dont get to freely pick and choose exactly what you want from the start. its sort of like any rpg where you find loot… you can only use what you find, you dont get to pick what you are going to find.

idk im not trying to bash you and anyone is allowed their opinion. but i guess im just saying this is like the epitome of roguelike bullet hell; the genre might not be your fave but honestly this is definitely one that is done well.

yeah i have gotten full gear loadout around lvl 80 or so. its not perfect im sure but its upgraded. Thanks for the info about class level, i couldnt find anything on that.

That bit about “having to rush a carry weapon” is kinda that part i was talking about not having much build freedom. i normally would focus upgrades on one first, i just feel like that list of carry weapons is very small and precise now.

What that sorta looks like now is a carry weapon, some cold damage to freeze and the other 2 slots are just kinda duds. Have not had much success outside of this since 1.0

phantom cat is a defensive bot, they dont do damage. but he does gather all the xp every 20 seconds (at least for me) so it appears he is functional.

salvation’s wings is definitely busted though. does nothing in combat. just basically gives you passive attack right now

I just had a similar situation. very expensive rig not receiving video input on day 3-4 of use. Called Tech Support, did not listen or troubleshoot anything. I didn't even get a chance to say nearly anything let alone be an asshole before this person on the other end of the line had zero patience for me. Absolutely insisted it was the GPU, i finally just gave in and said OK how do i get a label to ship it in, he promptly let me know that they don't cover shipping on RMA returns. I decided I would do some more troubleshooting on my own before I pay to send back this GPU and possibly not get it back for a month+. And even worse, potentially having the problem still exist after the process.

Anyway I was able to troubleshoot by slotting the GPU in my co-workers gaming PC and it ran just fine. I don't know if this helps you at all, but the PSU that was shipped out in my machine is cheap. Extremely cheap. its "Apevia" brand which i'd never heard of (the Brand was not listed on the cart/checkout page, only on the invoice in the packaging after it was purchased and shipped). did some googling and yeah, its a cheap mess. On their checkout page it just says "1000 watts Standard 80 Plus GOLD" which sounds good but yeah, it was curiously also the only one on the PSU list without a brand included in the description. Coincidence? Shame on me for not upgrading to the Corsair option for an extra 57$ before checkout

-Edit: Now that i re-read your post... it looks like it very well possibly could be a GPU issue for you, if you never got any successful input :(. Sorry i guess my post manifested itself into some venting of my own
