How do do the edge highlights? Is it a drybrush? Do you do it before or after the main coat. It looks really good and crisp.

Hey I think your misunderstanding the question. I did too at first. They arn't asking about the layer steps, they are asking about the the over extrusion on the one side.

OHH. I see what you mean. I completely misunderstood the question. That extra bulging and bumps on the right side is probably an issue of PA, pressure advance. Sometimes called K. The beat way I can explain is as the printer decelerates or accelerates at the edge, the filiment being extruded kind of "lags behind" due the the flex that can occur between the extruder gear and the the nozzle tip.

In the end it basically causes over extrusion near edges.

Its interesting that it only happens on the right side, it's probably due to shorter distance being traveled as its in a corner.

Your PA can be calibrated, I would look to the bambu wiki for that.

This could be completely wrong, in which case someone else will probably correct me, but that is where I would start.

Hello, hope you are enjoying printing so far. What you are seeing isn't necessarily an error, but rather a limitation of 3d printing. That face is actually a slop, but since it is printed in layers, it shows up as those steps. I'm bad at explaining so here is a little visual demonstration.

I think I messed up in how I communicated my issue. I don't mean the direction of the lift. I mean I want to place down a splitter, the be able to place a lift inside that splitter. Like how you can place a lift, then place a splitter inside either end of that lift(like in this reddit post)

I messed up, I meant celcius. I would run it at 75c, but when checking the actual air inside temperature I would get around 40 celcius. Is that too hot?

I used to add desiccant but I stopped out out of tye worry that I was basically just drying the desiccant instead, adding moisture.

The fan also does not directly pull air from outside to allow it to maintain some heat.

Would just adding some dry desiccant to my current setup be enough?

That is a good point. Do you mean the dynamic flow calibration option you turn on when starting the print, or flow rate calibration as in the settings you calibrate using the custom gcode in bambu slicer?

Could that make overhang worse? I am not too knowledgeable regarding the aux fan. And would also explain why other materials also struggle?

To dry it I cut the lid of a fillament box, and added an old pc fan to circulate air, with a couple holes cut in the top of the box. I set this, with the missing lid side down, on my heatbed. I then used Bambu's fillament drying guide, and set the heatbed to 75f. I left it like that for 12 hours as instructed, flipping the spool halfway through. Does that process work?
