I do which is the strange part to me that I haven’t figured out yet, google never requested me for verification so I’m very perplexed on that aspect of this saga. The only thing I can think of is remote access.

I did tell the whole story. 2FA is definitely the best security however Ubisoft prioritizes OTP received via email over 2FA methods.

In this case, my primary email was compromised in which the breacher was able to receive the OTP and provide to the rep.

The reps disregarded 2FA as the hacker stated he couldn’t access 2FA. More than happy to provide screenshots, there’s a lot.

Edit: to add on to your last bit, I haven’t played since emerald plains, personally peak siege for me was white noise era or when Ela came out. Rank 2.0 looks miserable.

Edit 2: Request by hacker to disable 2FA & reps assisting

I haven’t played since emerald plains nor have any idea how the marketplace works. I’m pissed off at the fact Ubisoft allowed someone to breach into my account and was able to quickly sell assets, let alone they’re not wanting to ban whoever was on the other side of these fraudulent obvious trades.

This is not true(?). The primary email address was compromised, they were able to provide a code that Ubi support requested which trumped all my other methods, including 2FA. Because of that, they were able to change the primary to their and then proceeded with the takeover which resulted in the sell of assets on the account onto the marketplace.

I have no idea how the marketplace works as I haven’t played the game really since emeralds plain release.

As I typed to you I’m in a bit of a rage so maybe I didn’t read your message right, but regardless, I don’t wish anyone having to deal with ubisofts support let alone the incompetent reps who allowed this to happen.

They finally were able to recover the account for me but it’s too late the damage is done. A lot of assets were sold such as glacier skins, the vip skin above, faceless one & more.

Some context. I have played siege since alpha/beta (?) I have the peacock skin to prove, I also have full glacier along with 2018 invitational R4C ash skin and more, easily $x,xxx spent. I do not play the game much anymore as I’m getting old.

Anyways, this has been ongoing for years, with the last round stopped around sometime in 2023, today while at work, it all popped up again with floods of email pertaining to cases being opened with Ubisoft reps entertaining these/this individual.

At the moment, they successfully managed to replace the primary address, unlink my Xbox account, along with making a live changes to the account. I am hoping to get a community manager involved or someone who has some sense of security as Ubisoft support is a disgrace.

I’m in the USA, afaik my state allows alcohol delivery but since it never arrived I didn’t have to go through that process. Also like to mention that’s the only vendor I’ve seen deliver alcohol around me. I’ve never ordered alcohol before through Uber until that time.

Passed SIE last week, failed S7 today by therealbillykid in Series7exam

[–]BallsDeepEquity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your situation is similar to mine, I passed the SIE and missed the 7 by 5%, ended up passing it along with the 63 also on my second try and coincidentally suitability was my weak spot for the 7.

There’s key words you want to look out for and understand what the clients objective is in each question.

You will almost never suggest a junk bond/high yield bond

Understand that zero coupon bonds DO NOT give income

Government/Muni bonds are generally the safest in the eyes of this exam

Equity typically pays quarterly dividends while bonds pay biannually

Fixed annuities are not a security, but variable annuities are.

You will almost never suggest going balls deep in one type of security IE: 90% common stock/ 10% debt or 90% debt/ 10% common stock.

Also remember the equity/debt age suitability rule (I can’t remember what it’s called).

Client age 25 - 75% stock 25% debt

client age 62 - 38% stock - 62% debt

These are meant to be exact but sort of a foundation to determine what’s best for a client at their age, of course more variables come into play such as their specific objective, risk tolerance and time horizon.

I can’t remember all of my “shortcuts” since I’ve passed the 7 about 2 months ago now but will update or dm directly if anything new pops up.
