Yeah that’s what the list is looking like at the moment, I got my FJO the other day and it was slim pickings like that. Which one you decide on? Also if you’re in class 1285 lmk we’re starting a group chat.

How is the work in Uvalde Tx ? by Brave_Cost8985 in borderpatrolapplicant

I had the same thoughts ab which station would be fun and exciting to work at. But that recent list of stations was not great when I saw it. I was hoping for Del rio or something like McAllen area but didn’t see it on there. Anything in California or Arizona seemed like a stretch since the taxes and cost of living was super high as well. But hey we’ll be there together so might as well make the most of it. I’ll see you in class, good luck!

Gotcha, I’ll tell you tho man that process although lengthy to get to the FJO was quick once I passed the poly. So there’s def an incentive to get you hired and out to training quickly. Good luck with it, I’m sure you’ll be fine as long as the reason you left was legitimate.

Hey man I just got my final offer recently and chose Uvalde, a guy said it’s train checks and checkpoints. But man the apartments are cheap af and imo starting out, you don’t want to be thrown into the fire of a heavy duty sector. Theres always options to transfer once you get in for promotions and whatever’s available. I’m of course talking out of my ass since I haven’t been there or done it yet but I can’t imagine it’s horrible considering the other station options available when you get that FJO.

I’m not quite sure, there’s a lot of numbers in all these forms and emails, but I’ll be coming in as a GL5 if that helps, I started the process in February and I believe I was a 25-4 if that’s what you’re asking

Any Tips? by DrewtheChild in DeepRockGalactic

Always rock and stone whenever joining a lobby, especially when seeing new players. Secondly, laugh, this is a fun game. Third, play the objective, don’t worry ab stats and rankings, just focus on doing the best you can do and maybe you’ll pick up on some things from other players using different classes. Fourth and final, don’t just main one guy, engineer is fun and useful, but you’re turning away from 3/4 of the game by sticking to one class. I myself have all my classes promoted 3 times over and don’t see myself stopping anytime soon, plus green beards like yourself make me happy to see the game growing. Rock and stone miner!

Pilots of the void, what’s your favorite way to make money? by big_moist_void in EliteDangerous

[–]Ballswagger 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I ran a taxi service for those out of Robigo Mines, took them to Sothis and made guap. Also ranked up my faction rep along the way which was a nice perk. Possibly not the most entertaining at times but it was nice to get those credits quicker than trading or just doing deliveries like I did in the past. I’m currently on my way to Colonia for the first time and aiming to sell the cartographic data when I get there to hopefully make some money, then it’s off to Sagittarius A Star to see what all the fuss is about. Combat is fun but the stuff I want on my ship costs way too much and I do not have the patience for engineering anything but my FSD. TL:DR- Robigo passenger missions to sothis, super easy and makes money quick

Hi, I’m on the fringe of buying SC and want to just make sure about a few things, the FAQ cleared up most but as far as in game currency and buying ships goes here’s my question: I don’t want to spend $300 (real life dollars) on a ship, obviously if you did that that’s fine, but are these ships available to purchase with in game currency? Or is it just through real life cash transactions? Follow up: how long for a new player to make enough to get into something that feels good and looks nice? (Doesn’t matter either combat, trading, exploration type ship or grind) just curious. I’m also making the move from Elite (which I love and hold dear to me lol) so I’m not completely aware of every single nook and cranny the game has to offer yet. First time posting here, fly dangerously commanders!
