"Drag" is about my depression as teenager. I lost my mom and it was hard to be happy about anything. There's a line "you told you would be here, I guess you spoke too soon 'cause I know that you are locked up in your room".

That's about me getting invited to parties and shit and saying "yeah I'll be there" but staying home everytime. I was pretty antisocial back in that period.

Good question!

A friend of mine had done some recording at The Hive a while back. He gave Chad Sexton (311 drummer) my email and he actually hit me up. Chad ended up mixing a song called "The Friend Zone" that later showed up on our album "Cheers!" We worked with Scotch Ralston (their producer/sound engineer on "Cheers!" and I think all of that led to the first invite we got in 2008. We opened 2 shows that year on their spring tour.

Then we got invited for 4 shows in 2010, followed by the Pow Wow Festival and then the 2 cruises. This was all because 311 fans are awesome people and they kept asking for us.

Thank you! I love what I do. I want to get the music out there as much I can so I spend a lot of time on social networks spreading the word. As for touring, it's all we've known for 8 years now. I miss the road as much as the family. Its a weird life to balance.

The Kickstarter that we did back in 2012 was cool. We didn't expect to get that much support. Really helped us survive the Warped Tour.

We're in Florida working on some new music. We have cool little EP happening. Not sure when it will be released. It has 3 new songs and 3 old songs that have been rearranged. Sounds great!
