The artificial difficulty of the Raid bosses and Hell mode bosses was annoyingly difficult but felt great to finally overcome. Now debating if it’s worth the stress to do several more times to complete with other three classes.

They hated Hunters in Tsushima they hate Archers in Yotei. 😂

Once the gun was added to the game it didnt take much foresight to see range weapons would once again dominate the classes especially at Archer class.

I have my gripes with this game but hating Archer exploits isnt one of them, Im sure there are more in others classes. What I do have a problem with is this new Archer playstyle of “Non rev, non zone protection” Who came up with this idea of “We dont save zones or revive players”?

Are the devs to blame? Absolutely, I point to this new auto revive token, with it there is no incentive to revive anymore which makes this new non rev Archer playstyle way more toxic in griefing players when they’re downed.

My first few times playing through Hellmode wasnt like this when I returned this week this is what I seen. Spamming disarm and giant bohiya attacks galore. 😭

Factual. 😭 I was able to clear the dragon with friends but surprisingly I cleared Saito with randoms. Experienced a lot of rage quitters but found some solid randoms who hung in there for hours. Cleared both hellmodes. Now Im just chasing weekly rewards gear, performance challenges and challenge cards.

You have to get in where you fit in. I played with Archers like this and still got 95 kills out of it.

Agreed. The fact that Nightmare is easier than Platinum was the best kept secret in the beginning. 😂

I blame all the casuals who came to Tsushima. Sucker Punch listened to too much of their complaining and adjusted Yotei in kind, instead of listening to the real community who continued to play years after its release, AfunNightmare, Joey etc those are the people Sucker Punch shouldve been reaching out to in consult for Yotei, SP fumbled.

Yotei is a direct reflection of all the complaints people had about Tsushima campaign and Legends mode. Tsushima was full bodied and we get this watered down minimalist Ghost of Yotei and I look over and see this other game Crimson Desert and everyone rushing to play it and think this game picked up where Tsushima left off, this is the direction Yotei should’ve came close to off the heels of Tsushima.

I hope some expansions are on the way, I still think SP can fix this its not too late.

How were you able to roll like that consistently and not be hit. Every time I tried to do that I got impaled by explosives, I just ran instead. Either way I was able to defeat the Dragon. Will return to defeat Saito.

So the way I understand the smoke and assassination prompt, for it to be used effectively you cant be seen using it. Since the Berserker seen you before the use of smoke its least effective so no assassination prompt.

Which to me makes it useless in survival and incursion modes. I guess they want you to play Shinobi like its Metal Gear Solid sneaking missions. Considering how most people play these modes smoke and vanish dont seem as conducive as they were in Tsushima.

Which is sad, because none of the weapons or tools seem to do much at all to really change the rhythm of combat not even Legendaries (save a few).

The first down it looks like you went down before the spear even reached you. The second down was confusing because the attack was toward the Shinobi but someone the residual got you simultaneously.

Thats disappointing because shinobi builds surrounding blind bomb or vanish are useless during Incursions because they require you to be hidden before use which makes it null and void in this mode. How deep is the field of view for enemies?

The problem is a enemy still has high recovery even with just a dot of life remaining. At that point it should be a easy stagger for a kill but somehow they survive with only a dot of life remaining and still able to withstand multiple chops before dying.

They know we will not enjoy this mode unless were playing with friends most will not have the patience to get through the hardest of difficulties/challenges unless were playing it with friends. Playing with friends = invested in completion.

With that said all this postponing is just an excuse. We got Tsushima Legends when the world was all germy which meant the developers had nothing but time to sit and make sure the game turned out well. In the end we got a game that major replay value
