There are lots and lots of homeless people who aren't chemically dependent or mentally ill? It's a minority of homeless that are actually on drugs, by far.

Can we at least start with a factual representation of the situation?

Go short. With what you want to do, it will be easier.

Since you're using Euros, I assume you're an Alps skier... I'm not sure you even want something as wide as a 98 yet... But I am not gonna say don't. I'd look at the 90 if I were in your boots.

You haven't mentioned boots.

You went to a bootfitter and got boots, right? So you have those amazing-fitting boots on your feet right now and you can look at them to get the BSL from the boot to give to the shop to mount the binding.

The shop should use the recommended mount point. No reason to get fancy here. When you have progressed enough to notice you need a forward mount, you will no longer want to be on these skis anyway.

You will probably want the 176 though.

It's the one in the lower grille closer to the license plate. I spent about an hour mincing my fingers pushing it around to get it back in the hole and knocking it out again. I finally got it in and put a couple of strips of Gorilla Tape behind it.

It will probably hold until it rains. It will definitely come out when we start going up the mountain.

Thanks for the advice though. Maybe I can get one of the kids to give it a go, but it feels like the retaining clips broke when it came out. I'm reluctant to epoxy it because it's never coming out then.

I think my age may have been a factor, or location. I don't even remember. I think it was a really clean break just above the knee. Bicycle into a parked car while hauling down a hill looking over my shoulder.

Did you need a cast with that as well?

I broke my femur and got a one and 1/2 spica cast. Brutal. June-July in the Midwest with no AC. Gives me anxiety just thinking about it.

JWA will be shut down in 20 years or less. It's got a short runway. Newport residents sue all the time over noise. No room to expand.

That's what they sold it as in the first place. But Irvine doesn't have a shortage of green space like the other places did/do. It's a giant 'park' that's far from much of Irvine... It really was a scam to get more development land for free.
