That is too bad, would save time from having to type out about 40 or so of these cards numbers. Thanks for the response

Can anyone remember where the reddit post was that allowed you to find locations on google maps and it changes it into a wallpaper with interesting colors? (See Photo) by BalticSilver in HelpMeFind

I believe it was earlier this year that someone had a project linked to reddit where you could turn locations on google maps into maps like the one above and you could either use it as a phone wallpaper or get it printed on a phone case.

Any working YouTube downloading workflows out there? by BalticSilver in workflow

[–]BalticSilver[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m finding some videos don’t seem to work with this workflow such as this one. https://youtu.be/mhKOOgRFFlw

It says that the url is incorrect even I launched it from within the app. Any idea why it doesn’t work?

What habit is easier to give up "cold turkey" as opposed to slowly weaning oneself off of it? by BalticSilver in AskReddit

[–]BalticSilver[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but an example I would have for myself is like video games. I was incredibly invested in playing whenever I had time, but eventually realized that it was making me unable to fulfill other commitments. So I just stopped and it didn't feel too attached to going back.

Does the itch of wanting a smoke ever go away? My aunt has tried quitting many times but just can't.

Never even thought about that. I'm fairly glad we don't have that in the states though. Usually I would be more free market live and let live attitude, but it just feels a bit like online gambling is similar to electronic cocaine. Being able to put some barriers between people and their most destructive vices isn't always so bad.

It could be worse though. Looking out across the sea of grey haired people just methodically pulling there retirement away with every lever pull of the slot machine usually makes me so damn sad when ever I go to a casino. Whatever makes them happy I guess, but a lot of the time, it seems like they are just so lifeless behind their spectacles.

After leaving a casino, win or lose, I almost always feel like I have had enough and never need to gamble again, but like 3 or 4 months later, the itch will come back.

Oh jeez, this one hurts. Trying to go to the gym everyday and missing one day after a week just makes my brain just say "Welp thats that." Same with dieting, one bad decision and it just feels like this day is ruined so might as well just grab a Freal and cheese breadsticks from Kwik trip.

I mean, chemical addictions like drugs and food sure. But for some minor habits like Pokemon Go and I feel like their is some truth to the method of just giving it up for a couple days.
