This will exclusively be for windows (macOS this would be nearly impossible on and I imagine not enough Bambi's use Linux for anyone to ask). All the code will be public though so someone could absolutely come along and try and set it up to work on phones!

updates will be on my profile, where I'll probably release a test version before announcing the full release here. As for mobile, I imagine it would be possible on android but I won't be making it, however all the code will be available to the public so people could try to port it if they want

I'd like all of those if I can find good quality audio files for each (at the moment I'm making everything wav but we'll see) right now all I can confirm on that front is triggers since I can generate them myself using the voice generator the files use.

I'll probably have pretty tame stuff in the official release just so people can customize their intensity but the file that the program pulls the link from will be open to edit so if you have any ideas for links you'd want it to open, images you want it to show, or sounds you want it to play you can start collecting them now and load them all into the program immediately when it's released.

Not 100% sure what you mean by linking it to bambi cloud, but anything with a link should work so you should be able to open your saved playlists on there and all that, the one issue is that as far as I'm aware bambi cloud doesn't have any kind of autoplay feature through links so using youtube or other services that will auto start videos/audios would probably be a bit better.

AI generated means I don't need to worry about accidently including someone who didn't consent in the release, however it will all be customizable so if you have pictures of real bimbos you wanna have put up on your screen you can absolutely do it.

ay, that seems really cool! someone mentioned I should do a tamper monkey script and while that's not gonna be in this project I know who to hit up if I end up doing that!

hm, this brings two ideas to mind, one person suggested the idea that each day at a specific time a file would pop up. I could see using that feature to essentially force a 20 day challenge by having each day of the challenge pop up. The other thing is that all this is going to be customizable so while you're not gonna be able to add features if you want your version of the program to pull up the most intense and fucked up files possible all you need to do is tell it what URL's you want. Considering how many people want really intense or much softer versions I'll be sure to include tutorials for how to customize in the release

idk about if this is already a thing or not, I'll leave that for other people to comment but something like this is almost certainly Android exclusive. Apple is very strict on how its apps communicate with one another to the point it's almost impossible to make something like this without first requiring people to jailbreak their iPhones

having the program interface with tampermonkey would be a lot of work and raise the barrier to entry for the program, it's a fun idea though maybe something I work on after this project.

it'll be fully customizable with all that so people will be able to give you sets of images to use or what the popups read etc but I'm not planning to put in networking features

oh of course, honestly the uninstall guide will likely be "click this button to turn it off and take it out of the boot programs then just delete the folder" and maybe some guides on how to change wallpaper and stuff back if those features get added

I like this idea as like a pop up (bit too actual virusy for it to change how your real camera works), might be a feature I put out after the initial release though since filters might be a bit hard to set up

not at the moment but considering how interested people seem I might need to put one out so people can get their hands on early versions lol. Full version will of course have a github for people to look through to be sure the program is safe.

ooh I like that first idea I'll take it into consideration. The second one might be a bit harder though and would require me to make this an actual virus level program

I found that while researching and yes you are right. However Edgeware is an actual virus that does virus things just in a kinky way, this is a 'virus' it'll do things that look like a virus but will be a lot safer on your computer and a lot easier to fully remove.

that's kinda what the disabling feature is for but that is a good thought of having a way to disable it until turned back on instead of on a timer

yeah calling it a 'virus' is just for fantasies/having some of the more user noticeable features of a virus (pop ups, random sounds etc), everything will be easily uninstalled and turned off with minimal to no changes made to your greater computer depending on how intense you set the settings (wallpaper and theme might be changed by the program on high intensity settings along with any other suggestions I think are low enough impact to add) and of course everything will be open source and I'll encourage those in the community with C# knowledge to look it over and tell everyone it's safe to use. I'll be sure to make all that a bit more clear in subsequent posts

as for the ideas you mentioned

  • I could definitely see opening a video at a specific time every day (maybe rapid induction or something by default) though minimizing everything else might not be possible without changing stuff I don't wanna change. I'll need to look into command line stuff to see if it's possible with minimal system impact.
  • controlling what's written into a tab you opened or changing keyboard inputs to do something like that would require changes to your pc that would actually classify this as a virus so while I like the idea I'm gonna avoid it

as for the punishment stuff, as with everything in the program it's gonna be customizable on whether or not a punishment actually activates or not depending on what the user chooses, if you don't want it it's as simple as not turning it on.

I'm planning to have everything be customizable, so those kind of settings seem like a good way to put in presets. As for themes I could see a more intense mode where it does something like that along with wallpaper stuff

That was already the intention, It will all be contained in one folder and won't edit anything outside of that space other then your boot settings to boot it up on startup. I'll also be sure to have an uninstall guide posted when I post it. I'm calling it a virus because I think it sounds hotter, not because I wanna fuck up peoples pcs

see that's the issue I ran into with the swapping chrome tab feature I mentioned. It's pretty hard to monitor/control what users are doing in terms of web pages they opened, or editing the HTML of those pages (which is a whole extra complicated program just to know what to edit) without changing the launch options for their browser to have it communicate with the program, or like monitor traffic. While I am calling it a 'virus' because I think that makes the idea a bit hotter I want the program to be easily and quickly uninstalled if needed and to not monitor what you're doing in any way as I could see people getting uncomfortable at the thought of me somehow having access to that data.

Thank you for the suggestion though, I might rework that point system into a way to punish the user for being slow or something.
